The taxpayers were probably forced into this on account of the danger that their loinfruit might become geeks instead of jocks.

Fark has been pretty good about keeping the ads and the content seperate for several years now. But the past few days have been a setback.

the biggest redneck here: Fark has been pretty good about keeping the ads and the content seperate for several years now. But the past few days have been a setback.

Are you implying that SbB is paying Fark off for all these quality links?

Reality is, once everyone adblocked the SbB ad so they could Fark at work more comfortably, nobody ever felt the impulse to click in and check out how Cora etc. is doing.

Being a Canadian where high school football doesn't matter I find this really amusing. American high schools have 12,000 seat stadiums, my old high school has a set of bleachers that fit about 10 people, and some room for lawn chairs.

leroux - I 'm born and raised in CA and I'm just as confounded as you. If I ever find myself in a place where people give a shiat about high school football, I'll set myself on fire, to distract myself from the pain.

If it will raise money for schools/good.

Okay... where do I start...

1) Why the FARK wasn't http://online.wsj.com/article_email/SB116562769978945266-lMyQjAxMDE2NjA1ODYwMj g3Wj.html submitted as the link? It's far more informative than that little blog blurb.

2) How can anyone respect a site that looks like a 13 year old's myspace page?

3) How on earch does such a site, with no meaningful content to boot, get it's own motherfarking IMAGE on fark? If I start a blog, can I have an image too? I'm tired of being Some Guy.

4) And, seeing as how I've never ever ever seen any meaningful content from SbB and I always end up regretting clicking on links to that website, and furthermore seeing that no one on Fark actually likes this guy or his meaningless blog... how come these submissions aren't just automatically trashed? And who the hell greens these submissions anyway? Oh wait that brings me to my next point:

5) How can *I* get favors like the Fark mods must get?
