Anyone dumb enough to get a jailhouse tattoo deserves whatever they get.

That is all.

Dr. Mojo PhD: And by the way, yes, tattoos are a right

Getting a tattoo is a right. It's your body, do whatever you want. Making me pay for it is not.

Walking down the street is also a right. Just one of the many you may give up when you choose to become a criminal.

Here's a question for thought:
Has the incidence of AIDS/HIV contracted while in the prison system gone down since the introduction of free condoms and govvernment sponsored tattoos?

If it's all about the money, this should be a simple question to answer.

R.A.Danny: I'm really trying, but there are some liberal thought processes that are beyond me. Paying for tats is one of them.

that actually reflects more on your own lack of intelligence rather than the average liberal's.

"If you prevent just five cases, the program has paid for"

i can't even believe there's even a debate about this. I really hope you people just didn't RTFA.

This thread is worthless without the 4chan "Enjoy your aids" meme

Canadian prisons already supply bleach kits and clean needles for drug users why not clean tattoo equipment? Inmates can make a tattoo gun out of anything. The best I saw used a motor from a CD player, a bent toothbrush and a bic pen. Add in ink and presto.

Having said that most inmates won't use the tattoo program because it does not allow gang tattoos. Even with the tattoo program there will still be illegal tattoos.

On lock down some inmates tattoo to pass time. "nothing else to do. Might as well go hard"

My money was paying for people to get tatoos?

That is angering. I don't care if they're aids rate goes up, perhaps they should... I dunno... Stop getting tatoos?

These people are put into a prison, not a country club, I'm still mad they're allowed to vote. Lets call a spade a spade here, Prisons are not for rehabilitation, they are punishment. Personally I support a Pennslyvania system of solitary confinement.

In the words of Jim Carrey, "Stop breaking the law A$$hole."

Again, Mojo, please stop the name calling. There's no need for that.

You will notice that when I typed out prisoner's right, "rights" was in quotations. I put the word in quotations because I don't think tattoos are a right.

Please don't alter my posts for your purposes.

farking filthy lies to cover your lying, evil, rights-hating ass. You love to lie because you believe that the truth is an eleven-year-old girl, and every time you venomously warp reality to fit your sick and twisted fantasies, you get your pedophile rocks off by metaphorically raping that eleven-year-old girl.

Here's your original, no farking quotations anywhere, that anybody can ctrl-c and then ctrl-v into the ctrl-f field, post:

Notice how the Liberals seem to come out of the wood work when prisoner's rights are threatened?

So where's the quoations, you farking warped lying sex offender prick?

Isn't a Liberal calling someone else a sex offender kind of hypocritical?

Thanks for proving me right by losing your temper!

Wow... just.... wow.

You know what? If this prevents just ONE person from getting Hep or AIDS, it's worth it in the long run. It costs $100,000 a year for this program at each prison. It costs $25,000 a YEAR to pay for HEP C drugs for a single inmate. Therefore it pays for itself in four years.

I'm no mathematician, but I do work in a tattoo shop. It is INCREDIBLY easy to get HEP C, even with much cleaner precautions than would ever happen in a prison situation.

I would gladly support this program, and I'd even donate to it. What you idiots don't seem to grasp is that one day, many of those inmates with incurable, infectious diseases are going to be released, and they WILL spread infection.

The cost of paying for the drugs of one person with AIDS over 20 years amounts to $400,000 or more. If for no other reason, isn't that good enough??
