Okay, so maybe you've already worked off all the junk you ate and drank over Thanksgiving, so, to get prepped for all the Christmas parties in the weeks ahead, what could be better than getting tanked at a DC-area Fark Party on this Friday, December 1? (The best turnouts have been in Arlington, hence with the going back to Whitlow's.)

Very informal, just show up and look for your fellow TFers, TFettes and Liters...we'll try to snag the back room, if it's available, as we did last year. We'll try to establish a presence starting around 6:30.
Whitlow's is near the Clarendon Metro (Orange Line) station, on Wilson Boulevard and N. Fillmore Street. If you Metro, walk down Wilson on the right side of the Boulevard (look for the Hard Times Café) and Whitlow's is 2 blocks down on the right, just across Fillmore.

More of a bar - but, iirc (been a few years) the back area was pretty quiet.

It's Virginia... they have laws that say any place that serves alcohol must serve a higher percentage of food than booze so it's more of a restaurant than a bar. There is no such thing as just a bar in Virginia.

That said, Whitlows is always crazy busy on fridays and they usually have a live music act which takes up some of the regular room. Is there going to be enough space for a fark party?

If you're going to go, get there before like 9:30. I think that's when they usually start charging a cover. Most likely around 5 bucks, but that's enough for a beer. Have fun.
