Having scanned some of these posts, this is possibly the dumbest thing of all time to be arguing about on Fark.

And I've seen some of the evolution threads...

The "person deemed awful" at SA was me, I guess, the artist of a comic strip called "Pupkin" (www.bobbycrosby.com), which SA used as its Awful Link of the Day on Saturday. I think the "article" this links to is a post (and numerous replies) where I simply correct a mistake they made in the awful link write-up (probably to intentionally make me look stupid). I didn't complain about it -- just made a clarification.

And from what I've seen, Lowtax is a huge jerk who bans people for no reason. Here's what happened to me: #1 -- I purchased an ad on SA. #2 -- Lowtax whined about it in the forums (went crazy, wondering why I bought the ad). #3 -- "Pupkin" became a very popular topic and eventually I posted, being very polite and not breaking any forum rules at all, but Lowtax called me a "gimmick poster," which was totally incorrect. #4 -- "Pupkin" was made the Awful Link of the Day. #5 -- More forums discussion, Lowtax complains about my posts again -- I simply ask him what a gimmick poster is, since I was new to the forums and didn't know, and since he didn't explain what it is in the FAQ. #6 -- He banned me, just two days after I bought the forums account.

And for any SA posters here who think I was correctly banned, go read my posts -- all I did was respond to what people said and I wasn't a gimmick in any way, just being myself.

Fark's great, by the way. I'll never go to SA again.

You know, I'm not really experienced in advertising, but isn't it bad business to make fun of the people paying you to advertise on your site?

I mean, if it was just regular posters doing it, well, there's nothing that you can do about it, but for Lowtax to bash someone who's paying HIM... for someone who biatches about how much his server costs, it seems like he's kicking himself in the teeth, if indeed your story is true.

As far as "Lowtax's Banning".

I have some things to add. Get this, I never paid 10 dollars and had never posted anything to the forums or anything on SA.

One day I got banned, with an email explaining to me that I was banned. I replied to Lowtax asking why I was banned.

He said, "I traveled into the future, and on May 8th 2013, you posted some NSFW pictures in one of our forums, so I came back to this time period and banned you ahead of time. Once I returned to the future, the NSFW picture was gone."

He saved the future. Sure I felt screwed but it was my fault, my future self is a jerk obviously. Thanks lowtax.

Bobby Crosby, a GOP activist, spoke Monday to a breakfast meeting of about 15 Republican state governors attending the National Governors Association conference.

The 54-year-old said he mulled a challenge against California Democratic Gov. Gray Davis this past year, but eventually declined because of his eye contacts.

"It's something that I'm still interested in (for) the future. I think that the greatest thing you can do is serve the people," Bobby Crosby said. Pupkin, from what a friend of Lowtax told me, he started S.A. in hopes that you would get an account there. He did this all knowing that he could then ban you, leaving you confused and bewildered. Later he planned on becoming a friend of Drew. He would then have Drew link to his site, in hopes that you would post in it. Then he could further insult you.

He is way ahead of you. Get out while you can! He is ruthless and can not be stopped by mortal means. I swear it to you, he has trained dogs!!!

Oh, no, I agree with you completely on that issue. I have always and will always consider myself to be a jerk. I have never said anything otherwise and honestly can't / don't defend myself against that accusation: I am a jerk. In fact, I'm said numerous times I'm a jerk. Fortunately, I don't currently have any qualms with being a jerk, so it all works out.

So don't worry about offending me by saying I'm a jerk because I'm in total agreement with you on that issue. If I wasn't a jerk, I would probably try to defend myself by saying "oh, by the way, the person who posed as Bobby Crosby on the SA forms and the person posting as Bobby Crosby on the Fark forums is a gimmick poster and not the real Bobby Crosby."
