bud adams has a 1 year option on jeff fishers contract, I would be incredibly suprised if he let jeff fisher go... especially to a texas team...the cowboys no less...

floyd reese will be gone before jeff

Looks like Jeff may need a change of enviornment, don't know if Dallas is the right change but in the modern NFL, if the coach wants to go, he goes. Cowboys may have to give up a mid-round pick, though. Think Herman Edwards leaving the Jets (thank, God, BTW).

It took nearly three years, but Keyshawn Johnson got a heavy weight off his chest before Monday night's game. Johnson said he had a long-awaited conversation with ESPN commentator Joe Theismann in a television production meeting. "The guy called me an idiot a couple of years ago when I was de-activated in Tampa," Johnson said. "I just told him that's not acceptable. I'm a guy with a degree from the University of Southern California. Idiots don't get degrees."

I don't even know where to begin on this one.

The Titans haven't made the postseason... in how many years?

Why is Fisher STILL around? He's the 3rd longest tenured coach behind Cowher (15) and Shanahan (13). Yet Broncos and Steelers routinely make the playoffs and have been historically well. Titans haven't done crap in a decade.

jake

They have made the playoffs at least twice from 2000 on. In 2000 they were a yard away from a ring. Not defending them, but it has only been the past 2 seasons that they have been dreadful due to their cap management.

2000, 2002, and 2003. The latter season being the one in which they barely lost to the Patriots.

I've heard Gregg Williams is supposedly the candidate to replace him.

Whoa, are we really going to accept Theismann calling someone an idiot? Hello, Kettle? This is Pot. You're black!

The "Titans" haven't even existed for 10 years.....

Nov. 14, 1998 - Oilers owner K.S. "Bud" Adams, Jr., announces that the Oilers will become the "Tennessee Titans" beginning in 1999. "We wanted a new nickname to reflect strength, leadership and other heroic qualities," Adams said.

As a Titans fan, I had to put my $.02 in....
