2006-11-10 05:23:19 PM
vartian,

I'm with you on that one. I was like, "I thought I remember a Jack Palance retrospective or something after he died..."

2006-11-10 05:25:32 PM

Dude, my friend saw him boning a 20 year old chick. My friend was working the valet at a swanky house party and went in to use the bathroom. He opened the second door on the left instead of the third and voila, Curly was pounding away on some Arby's roast beef.

/best story ever when he tells it.

Bummer. I read an article in People magazine while in a waiting room a few hours ago. It was about actors who had served in the military. Apparently, in WWII he crashed a bomber on takeoff and had to have a bunch of facial reconstructive surgery. That's why he made such a good rugged cowboy in the movies.

Whee, pointless facts!

2006-11-10 05:37:35 PM

Taking bets on who's gonna complete the trifecta.

1. Ed Bradley, journalist

2. Jack Palace, actor

3. ... politician?

One can only hope.

Jeez, could we stop w/the obits already? This is getting depressing. First it was the GOP. Next, Bradley. Now this.

Okay, the GOP part was good reading.
