It is becoming more and more obvious that Colorado College was not under-ranked to start the season.

The college hockey rankings will get better once INCH realizes the ECACHL is not an actual conference.

Clarkson in top 10 with best offense in nation. Watched my alma mater spank Harvard last Friday. It was class warfare on ice.

GO UMASS!! its a shame we are 4-1-1 but still are like 5th in Hockey East

The ECAC is looking pretty good this year. They've 8 more out of conference wins than losses. Given, some of those are against AH or CHA, but the ECAC is still playing the rest of college hockey fairly evenly.

If anything, I'd say Hockey East is the most overrated, as they're often considered in the same tier as the WCHA or CCHA.

After last year's tournament showing I think it might be the CCHA that would be the most overrated as they're often considered to be in the same tier as the WCHA or Hockey East.

What, no love for Cornell(16)?

/you're not a goalie, you're a sieve.
//watched Cornell-Yale this weekend in person. College hockey+Lynah Faithful=good times.
///Big Red fan for hockey only. Columbia alum otherwise.
////2 minutes for slashies!

UMass is in first place in the HEA. RTFA.

Damn, I had to teach UMass undergrad students when I went to grad school there. This guy is so typical.

Long Live Section U!

Ah, hockey. The only sport in which Minnesota is really good at.

I went to both East Lansing and Ann Arbor for the U-M/MSU home and home,... i gotta say, i think Spartans made a big mistake forcing their goalie Vicari go pro to back 5'6" Jeff Lerg. Lerg may be talented and works his ass off but he is just too small to be on a real Div I program.

It was cool to see Steve Yzerman at the first game. Wolverines and Spartans united in a standing ovation for him

In the 2000's i think both Hockey East and CCHA have been lower tier in comparison to the WCHA.. this year seems to be more even between the 3... You never know what you'll get come march though (Holy Cross vs Minnesota).

Hey now, our football team can at least beat a Division I-AA team! Of course, it took blocking a last second field goal to do it...

I really wanted them to lose that game. But now, with Iowa losing to Northwestern, we have a legitamate chance of actually going to another 3rd rate bowl that absolutely no one cares about. That's probably the last thing we need at this point.

I knew Wisconsin would struggle compared to last year, but losing to Alaska Anchorage after tying them????

oh man c'mon offense, we need ya!

/what's happened to Brian Elliott???

Just give Minnesota the trophy each year and be done with it.

/go Gophers

I almost agree, but they should be able to beat the best from Atlantic Hockey first.

Erom

Seriously, is that all you got? This is like the third week in a row that you've ripped on the Gophers for losing to Holy Cross, and I've yet to see your team win ANYTHING since '98 (Which I'll again point out was won in OT with a goal scored by a kid from Minnesota).

I like Maine at top. I was at their games against UND.

Hey, UND has been at the tourney more and has more titles...give it up

/go sioux
