Didn't take long for this thread to turn into a cesspool of anti-American propoganda

Stop being a party-pooper, man. It's how us non-americans get our jollies.

That said, election or not, I'm glad the farce is over. If only they speed through the appeals process and get it over with and concentrate on finding Osama. But I guess we'll have to wait for the next presidential elections.

2006-11-05 08:32:19 AM
Amnesty International says the trial was unfair. Basically, you should hang them all.

Many Iraqis already say life was better under Saddam. With all of the awful things the Americans have done over there - like using Saddam's torture chambers for, wait for it, torture chambers - is there really any chance Iraqis will remember anything else?

2006-11-05 08:32:19 AM
What happens in Iraq after Hussein is executed?

/a little worried
/ok alot worried

Goodnight, Funnyman.

2006-11-05 08:32:32 AM
9/11 finally avenged!

Go America!

2006-11-05 08:32:54 AM
He's already well hung:
hypocrisytoday.com

Now let's hang some American politicians.

2006-11-05 08:32:59 AM
I for one am anxious to hear the defending of Saddam by liberal democrats.. In fact, lets just get rid of Howard Dean and put Saddam in charge of the democrat party.. at least he has more credibility! hahaha

2006-11-05 08:33:46 AM
Finally the man responsible for the trade tower attacks is dealt with.

I wish I didn't hate you guys.

2006-11-05 08:33:51 AM
FARK needs a "Foregone Conclusion" tag.

2006-11-05 08:33:53 AM
premises:

1. we're fighting a war on 'terror'.
2. we should fight it over in iraq instead of here.

evidence:

1. we haven't been 'hit' since 9/11.

rebuttal:

1. almost 2900 dead
2. 20000+ maimed and wounded
3. yes, they are all american. we haven't been 'hit'?

2006-11-05 08:34:17 AM
I have utterly no problem with the Iraqis executing that criminal. If you can't do the time (or the hanging) then don't do the crime.

Of course that does not mean I will uncritically support the Administration's crappy handling of the Iraqi War or allowing war profiteering by American Companies such as Halliburton charging taxpayers $45 for a six-pack of Coca-Cola that was bottled locally in Iraq. Not to mention not sending in no where near enough troops to get the job done and not being to admit that mistake.

2006-11-05 08:34:20 AM
YAWN.

Now, back to that election.

2006-11-05 08:34:21 AM
A single pyrrhic victory that will be touted as the ultimate Iraq war achievement by Bush & Co.

2006-11-05 08:34:25 AM
Stupid farking liberals.

Great. Now when do we do the same to Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld?

2006-11-05 08:34:33 AM
It's a shame that people just want to see a death for another death. Saddam was wrong to do what he did and so is George, but dose any of this make it right? It will never stop and humanity will never evolve. I'm going to live in the woods untill all tis crap is over.....hmmmm, that may take more life times than I care to give.

Yeah, cuz we're such wonderful goddam neighbors.

Get off my lawn.

I don't know if anybody's mentioned it yet, but doesn't it strike you as a coincidence that this happened just before the US congress elections?

/sarcasm

GW_Diesel: I for one am anxious to hear the defending of Saddam by liberal democrats.. In fact, lets just get rid of Howard Dean and put Saddam in charge of the democrat party.. at least he has more credibility! hahaha

I don't think any Democrats are going to defend Saddam and I think you know that. The question is, did ousting him make things worse for the Iraqis and us. But by all means, straw-man away.

I am much more interested in what you as a non-American has to say than Fark's undergraduates.

Great. Now when do we do the same to Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld?

Please. It's not like you can arbitrarily go into a country and sentence the senior administration to death, simply because you don't like them, can you?

2006-11-05 08:38:21 AM
Smart. Turn him into an undeserved martyr. And you guys thought October was a supplies?

Seriously man, dissenters and critics of our present leadership does not coincide or equal defense of an obvious tyrant.
Just because liberal Democrats are not politcically aligned with your perspective, doesn't mean they side with enemies.
Accusing them of such a thing is what Stalin was notorious for.
And that, good sir, is very unbecoming of a true patriot.

2006-11-05 08:38:33 AM
GW_Diesel sucks at life. Your tiny little mind can't handle too much, can it? Yes Saddam was bad. Agreed. We haven't heard any 'liberals' say otherwise.

Now consider the fact that America went to war on a country without reason and killed more than 600,000 Iraqis. Does that make America good or bad? Does your supporting the war make you better than someone who questioned the motivation of the people who were trying to make it happen?

2006-11-05 08:38:47 AM
Someone get Harvey Birdman to plead the appellate case?

2006-11-05 08:38:49 AM
tried for crimes against humanity...

before a trubunal (court)...

now if only we can get W in front of a court for the crimes against humanity he has committed...

hundreds of americans (that his regime will admit to) and
over 650,000 iraqi civilians that his regime spends a great deal of energy and time covering up...

we have no business in the middle east except for oil (for blood) and to make W's rich cronies richer...

long live the memory of the original america that was honest, not blood (oil)-thirsty, and revered by the world...

the latest polls around the world show us that we should be ashamed of ourselves for letting this mad man (W) continue to breath...

/so proud to be american
//and a veteran of another filthy war (for oil-the russians got it: cam rahn bay)
///vote these jerks out!

Let's keep it civil. Namecalling and threats isn't debate. Thanks!

2006-11-05 08:40:35 AM
Saddams Lawyer (I believe) already released a statement by Saddam asking Iraqi's not to attack other countries that are currently in Iraq. However the democrats want the attacks to continue...strange.

So this means we won right? Will all the Iraqis will cheer for the Americans and throw flowers at our feet and name their children after George the liberator?

oh i forgot: someone please lobotomize me...

/thanks

Saddam, where's your Allah now?

/Thought him asking the citizens of Iraq not to riot or attack the "invaders" of Iraq was a nice gesture on his part.

/Whoa, Alpha, old guys in tighty whites not cool. I shouldn't have had that second piece of pie @ evening mess.

Should'nt this be under the Entertainment tab?

/can we get bush charged with 600,000 iraqi deaths?
//please?
///cmon, I know the asshats immune from prosecution, but its gotta be done.....

"Anti-Bush? Geez, you hide it well."

Hey, Georgie was a great guy back in his party days! I like the guy! He just shouldn't oughta be President (if his Daddy wasn't G.H.W. Bush, he wouldn't be) and he (along with the whole Republican Party) needs to lay off the holier-than-thou attitude. And fix the debt.

There were certain things about that place that has stuck with me since I got back from Iraq. This guy deserves a whole lot more than what they are doing to him.

The one I remember was the lake that was on one of our bases. It was a lake that the engineers would not drain. Saddam and his son's would routinely have his police go out and get 11 to 13 year old girls from town. They would then rape them, kill them, and toss their bodies into this lake.

Deserves hanging, disembowelment and sodimization.

Oil My ASS

Ahhh, things should get peachy here in the Anbar province now.

/Seriously thinking about postponing tomorrows trip to Haditha...

Maybe if we smoke enough pot, hold hands, and sing bad folk music then all the bad people in the world will give up their guns, authority, and land, and stop being bad.

2006-11-05 08:44:39 AM
In all fairness, the verdicts were ready weeks ago and postponed until now.....

are you stating that bush went into iraq for any reason other than oil?
