None of them. They all tried to floor it once the bus got through, and all got pwned.

Still, those do seem rather dangerous. You'd think a raising bar or something would be better.

A horizontal bar would probably bend when hit. Those posts aren't going anywhere. And those people knew what they were doing.

Retractable bollards for the win. I have seen some tested for use in high security barrier systems - the really good ones can lift a tank of its treads.

This is in Cambridge and (I think) Manchester, UK. The route with the raising bollards are for specific vehicles like the buses and the Postal vans. No one else is allowed. It's to keep more areas pedestrianised, with only a few vehicles allowed through. And yes, they're that fast for the reasons you saw in the vid: people would hide behind the vans and try and sneak through.
