Misunderstanding "Louie, Louie" again, eh?

2006-10-13 12:50:18 PM

24, 34, 46, good and thick, and once you get it

she'll work wit it.

Put a face and some cute

lips, earing and a tongue and she'll know what

to do wit it.

Make a name for herself, and

she'll do her shiat well, and know how to keep

her business to herself.

Come over anytime a nubian call chick, 1 o'clock

2 o'clock, and she right there. And

she know why she came here, and she know

where her clothes supposed to be (off and over

there.)

Sniff a little coke, take a little x, smoke a little

weed, and drink a little bit.

I need a girl that I

can freak wit, and wanna try shiat, and ain't

scared of a big dick. And love to get her pussy

licked, by another biatch, cus I ain't drunk enuf

This seems completely appropriate.

Sweet. Sounds like the band invented some new musical notes, that simulate the words sh*t, d*ck, b*tch, and p*ssy.

2006-10-13 01:08:13 PM
I have never heard of this song, and am a professional musician.

/so get off my lawn!

2006-10-13 01:12:58 PM
wow.. taking trash rap to a whole new level of suck.

why coulnd't they have picked a better song? like.. "Ya Gots to Chill"?

2006-10-13 01:36:44 PM
In my day we would never freak a leek, at least not while there were other bulbous root vegetables around to pleasure ourself with.

I lost my virginity in the rumble seat to a turnip of course, being as it was the proper thing to do, we got married shortly thereafter.

Stupid Alabamians.

2006-10-13 02:08:11 PM
Most explicit songs have edited versions that are played on the radio. Since this was just a band and no vocals (other than spectators) it's kind of hard to prove which version they learned. I'd just play dumb and tell the mom it was the edited version.

"Most people come (to games) not just to watch football but to see the band perform," said Larrel Vaughn, 16, who plays the drums at Lee."

I think Larrel Vaughn is not quite in touch with reality.

2006-10-13 02:09:41 PM
"yes I'm the band director but I had no idea what they were playing"

Or did I not RTFA correctly?

2006-10-13 02:11:01 PM
LOL.. this is tripe...

"I can't believe my ears on the music i'm hearing... they are bleeding from the sounds of satan"

2006-10-13 02:11:20 PM
Offended one: "I don't know what bothers me the most, the fact that the band was playing such an explicit song or the fact that almost everyone, except for me, knew the lyrics and were singing them aloud."

She's as offended for being LEFT OUT as she is about the lyrics. Now THAT'S funny!

/repressed high school memories we need to deal with, Verleen?

2006-10-13 02:12:22 PM
Show style marching band sucks.

That is all.

2006-10-13 02:12:50 PM
Some Texan. You can Blow me!

2006-10-13 02:12:54 PM
They should have played "Quickie" by the Geto Boys instead.

"I don't know what bothers me the most, the fact that the band was playing such an explicit song or the fact that almost everyone, except for me, knew the lyrics and were singing them aloud."

Hm...the very fact that she was bothered at all by feeling excluded tells me that she was more bothered by feeling excluded.

Bet she's ugly and was never popular.

2006-10-13 02:14:20 PM
Is this the town from "Dirty Dancing"?

I came in here to post the same thing. She seems mad to be left out. Most losers are.

Maybe it's the Christian psycho from Swapping Spouses??

2006-10-13 02:14:56 PM
Damn! HoboHabilis beat me to my thoughts.

2006-10-13 02:14:59 PM
I was much more offended by this line:

Now I got to give a shoutout to Seagrams Gin cuz I drink it, and they payin' me fo it.

2006-10-13 02:15:31 PM
I meant "Footloose"...woops.

2006-10-13 02:15:50 PM
my significant other played in his high school marching band and tells me they did a mean rendition of Bloodhound Gang's Lift Your Head Up High.

high school marching bands are big stuff in some places. one of the high schools in my home town had a crap football team, but their band was top notch. games were packed, and not to watch the d-line self destruct either.

Lee High School Principal David Sikes said he and the band director, Michael Williams, were not aware of the song the students were playing until after it was over.

bullshiat. when I was in marching band, it may have been the drum majors calling songs and conducting, but the band director was the one pulling the puppet strings, so to speak. we didn't play anything that he didn't approve.

Lee High School Principal David Sikes said he and the band director, Michael Williams, were not aware of the song the students were playing until after it was over.

When did they get together and learn the song without the band director knowing it?

The band director should make it clear that all songs played are ran by him first or the jackasses who play it will be out of the band...and have to go back to the drama club.

No mommy, don't do it again

I know a guy that had this played at his wedding. His now ex-wife was not amused.

2006-10-13 02:17:08 PM
Since when do high school marching bands get to play whatever the hell they want?

2006-10-13 02:17:09 PM
wow.. taking trash rap to a whole new level of suck.

certainly not a new low. look up NORE's "Big Dicks" (feat akinyele and heather hunter)

2006-10-13 02:17:26 PM
I think Larrel Vaughn is not quite in touch with reality.
Maybe not. The only thing worth watching at my school's football games were the performances of our band.

HomoHabilis I've been trying my hardest to wrap my mind around that one as well. Is she really that sad for being left out, or is she bothered truly that everyone knows such an explicit song?

2006-10-13 02:17:58 PM
If I were her I would just be upset that the band is playing such crappy "music"

2006-10-13 02:18:16 PM
fta: "I don't know what bothers me the most, the fact that the band was playing such an explicit song or the fact that almost everyone, except for me, knew the lyrics and were singing them aloud."

Aw, the poor stupid cow is feeling left out.

2006-10-13 02:18:40 PM
In 1965 there was a hit called "Greenback Dollar", where the guy sings: "---well, I don't give a damn about a greenback Dollar---" but they bleeped out the "damn" so everyone in the dance hall would yell: SH*T!" when they came to that part of the song.

There's a tune called "Cotton-eyed Joe", where everyone yells "Bull-sh*t!" while they are dancing, and make like they have stepped in some.

One song is country, the other is folk, so no one notices.

Or you might try the little ditty by the Standells:

"Down by the river--
Oh, down by the banks of the river Charles.
That's where you'll find me--
Aling with lovers f**kers and thieves."

Stayed on the Top 40 for 18 weeks and no one cared.

Standells were white, in case anyone cares.

That is kind of Disturbing.

2006-10-13 02:19:02 PM
Why did this get a dumbass tag?
I mean the Mom wanted to EDUCATE herself.. OMFG she actually did some parenting.. So we give it a dumbass label. A highschool band doesn't need to be playing songs like that.

2006-10-13 02:19:04 PM
Three things that annoy the hell out of me:

1) People who post negative revies on Amazon containing some variation on the the theme of "This book was so bad, I gave up after ten pages".

2) People who stop and look around at the top or bottom of the escalator, wondering which way to go.

3) People who think their kids are going to turn into rapists and drug addicts just beacuse they have access to songs with 'explicit lyrics'.

2006-10-13 02:20:03 PM
Um,ignore that.. didn't refresh before posting...

2006-10-13 02:21:28 PM
Warning: Do not read the comments included with TFA!! You will lose serious IQ points.

2006-10-13 02:21:59 PM
Far from being a fan of censorship I'm of the opinion that music chosen for kids to play should not reference explicit source material.

There are some great sounding German drinking songs from beer halls that were sung in the mid to late 30's or more modern songs sung and written by a fellow named "Johnny Rebel" that have a fun beat but could be reasonably considered inappropriate or offensive even if the lyrics were absent because they sentiment is implied.

NightOwl2255,

That marriage didn't last long. That album was released in 2000...So, at the absolutely maximum, 6 years.

Some people just shouldn't get married.

2006-10-13 02:22:42 PM
My marching band plays "Stacy's Mom." Our crazy old band director LOVES it...I'm not sure if he's ever heard the real version though.

/no one cares enough about our marching band to sing along, though!

2006-10-13 02:23:18 PM
brap made me laugh.

2006-10-13 02:23:37 PM
Vangor I've been trying my hardest to wrap my mind around that one as well. Is she really that sad for being left out, or is she bothered truly that everyone knows such an explicit song?

I thinks it's the perfect freudian slip. I don't think she meant to say it that way, but it's a nice little insight into her mental world.

2006-10-13 02:23:49 PM
"2) People who stop and look around at the top or bottom of the escalator, wondering which way to go."

I'm with you on that one. Every single time, I have to fight the temptation to give them an almighty kick in the back.

I'm a proud dropout of Robert E. Lee High School..

/got my GED 2 years before I would have graduated, now working IT with government contracters while my classmates who actually graduated are working at Taco Bell
//yay for Alabama public schools...
///thank god for Mississippi public schools....

2006-10-13 02:24:21 PM
I remember playing drums in marching band in high school, and we did an instrumental of ACDC's Shook Me All Night Long, and the anouncer for the stadium had to change the name to "Shocked me all night long," which, I thought, was much much worse and only brought attention to the imagined vulgarity.

We also played a cover of "Pachuco" and had to change the yell "HEY! Pachuco!" to "HEY! Go Panthers!" because someone on the school board thought Pachuco was offensive.

/why yes, it is pointless story day, thanks for tuning in

2006-10-13 02:24:44 PM
"...but you can't take the ghetto out of the band members".

I'm sure they'll all have no objections when they're singing on the chain gang one day.

2006-10-13 02:24:58 PM
From TFA "Most people come (to games) not just to watch football but to see the band perform"
Bullshiat!

2006-10-13 02:25:40 PM
At first I thought she was over-reacting if a band is playing an instrumental piece so what? But if you are a parent and you take your young child to a game you do not expect to have everyone around that child using that kind of language. If you don't care then you are a bad parent.
