Too late.
I worked in a comic book store that sold "True stories of porn queens".
I don't remember who the girl was, but, the ink was mixed with, you guessed it, her orgasm juice.

Evidently, not a rumor.

KISS did it for their comic book in 1978. Pure genuis.

Gene Simmons wants his royalties from these poster sales, BTW.

SHAWNEE SMITH IS IN THAT MOVIE....????

/ oh man
// shawnee smith
/// gurgle
//// many many kittens were killed during my teenage years over shawnee smith
// it was kitten genocide in my pants
Now.

What I actually came in here to say (before I was distracted by SHAWNEE FRRREAKIN' SMITH) is:

When they start using the blood of victims to make movie posters, I will care. Until then, I simply say:

"Gimmick."

HIV....Hep C........no worries?

She shows up on IMDB.com, so it looks so.

Hopefully no more hypodermic scenes for her...:shudder:

This is the first horror movie I've looked forward to in a long time. I liked the first, and really liked the 2nd. They're great mind farks, and they don't cheat while they do it.

2006-10-10 02:38:12 PM
You think that's badass?

In the olden days, books were bound with leather made from human skin.

2006-10-10 02:38:52 PM
yea, THAT'S not weird

2006-10-10 02:38:54 PM
how fun

Anyone else feel really old when they read that, and the actress turns out to be 3 years older than you?

Chaim Witz: In the olden days, books were bound with leather made from human skin.

Even the paperbacks?

2006-10-10 02:41:37 PM
Well, at least they didn't write a cartoon.

Since when is the Red Cross a "good cause"? Last ones in, first ones out, most photo-opportunities taken advantage of...

Ask the majority of Katrina survivors what they think of the Red Cross. Doubt you find too many glowing reviews there...

2006-10-10 02:43:12 PM
Now that's beyond scratch-and-sniff!

/Yum!

2006-10-10 02:43:40 PM
no amount of PR will keep this movie from sucking

2006-10-10 02:44:37 PM
Wasn't she the crazy girl from The Stand who shot at the retarded guy and a deaf Rob Lowe?

She's three years older than me too!!!

/ you're my boy, blue

Didn't the first Saw just come out like last year? Is time passing by that quickly?

2006-10-10 02:45:32 PM
$20, minus the first print, which will be auctioned off. All proceeds from the auction and sales will go to the Red Cross.

weird...

2006-10-10 02:46:33 PM
I tried and tried to like Saw I & II but just couldn't do it. Odd because I loved similiar movies like 7even.

Still managed to find Shawnee Smith hawt though.

Seymour's Fat Lady:

They've been pumping 'em out a year at a time

2006-10-10 02:47:47 PM
btw, the Saw 2 ad campaign was funny.

You saw Saw, now see Saw 2 too!

/say it out loud if it doesn't seem funny the first time

2006-10-10 02:48:17 PM
and 1st print poster will be bought by the members of KISS and immediately destroyed

Seymour's Fat Lady: Didn't the first Saw just come out like last year? Is time passing by that quickly?

First one came out 2004, 2nd 2005, and the next one 2006. But it does seem to be pretty quick.

2006-10-10 02:49:16 PM
growth chart ....?

I'm lost. What's that mean?

(Didn't see the movie.)

(If you mean "Am I hugely well endowed?" then the answer is "Maybe, are you a gorgeous female?")

And looking at your profile, I don't think you are.

/ so you're being a little creepy and you should stop

2006-10-10 02:49:40 PM
GuyKnolles - yeah, that was my first thought too, gotta keep up the gimmicks to actually get people out to see shiat like this.

2006-10-10 02:50:22 PM
I don't actually see any blood in the picture...

2006-10-10 02:50:25 PM
Too bad it's going to be crap like the other two. Want actual grotesque horror and suspense? Try the recent remake of The Hills Have Eyes. Might surprise you.

2006-10-10 02:50:36 PM
My only question is this. Is Jigsaw really dying of cancer? It could have easily been a ruse, but at the end of Saw II there was no closure one way or the other. I suppose we'll find out in the opening act of Saw III?

\eagerly awaiting 10/27

Seen Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning? I have a feeling you'd enjoy it. Good shiat.

Yay for good scary movies! This is the first horror flick in a long while that really made me shudder. I can't remember the last movie that actually made it difficult for me to sleep though...oh wait, yes I do...but no one else seems to think it was interesting much less frightening so therefore, I am ashamed.

I love that from this site you can buy a 21 Jump Street Poster. Richard Grieco is dying for those royalties.

Yeah, I could have sworn I saw the first one in the theater last year, but it must have been '04. They are really pumping these suckers out quickly. How many times can you run with this theme?

GuyKnolles: no amount of PR will keep this movie from sucking

what's the last film you saw that you liked? You're not one of those guys who sticks to movies rated over 90% on rottentomatoes, so that you don't have to justify your tastes in entertainment to those who might disagree, are you?

What exactly were you expecting the Red Cross to do? Spend all of their funding to provide free houses and living expenses to Louisiana forever?

2006-10-10 02:55:54 PM
I feel sorry the people who treat "Jigsaw" like a real serial killer and spend 20 bucks on a poster with his blood on it like it is an original art piece from Charles Manson. These gimmicks are nothing short of genius though.

2006-10-10 02:56:23 PM
Ditto... it seems like I just saw Saw II (hehe) the first week of its DVD release a few weeks ago. WTF? They're already releasing Saw III?

I doubt I will bother netflixing Saw III. The first one was a good flick but the second one blew chunks. I imagine the third won't even be worthy of cleaning the chunks blown by the second one.

It's looking like three :D

And if this one is as disturbing as the other two, I'm perfectly happy with that :)

I think you just caused thousands of people to start sobbing in their mothers' basements.

There's a remake? Geez I need to start getting out in the world again. But gore doesn't always equal scary, not for me anyway.
