I don't care. I am still going to laugh at him and not with him

2006-09-23 01:17:25 PM
The video is really funny but I wouldn't want to be the star of a youtube video. Of any kind.

2006-09-23 01:18:38 PM
That's actually the first time I've seen that...who gives a crap whether it was aired or not...that's farking funny...

Very strange way to be "outed" though...

2006-09-23 01:25:33 PM
Wow... it was obvious that that wasnt on the air, but I figured that dude for an intern. Who lets their weatherman have hair like that?

keylock71: Very strange way to be "outed" though...

Outed? How do you mean? Because all the world now knows he has a phobia about roaches?

/Out and proud roach hater here. NASTY things.

2006-09-23 01:33:29 PM
It's a good thing he didn't scream like a gir.....never mind.

I was making a joke about the effeminant screams.

Couldn't agree more about roaches though...hate the little bastards...

If I were gay, I'd hit it.

What does 20 secs. or 3 hours have to do with the weatherman being a complete and utter pansy?

Anyone that takes UTube for tuth needs a re-edumacation, anyways.

2006-09-23 04:27:56 PM
you guys made me laugh. you are both good at the funny. just look out for the roach in the ceiling that watches you masturate.

2006-09-23 04:29:05 PM
tuth? or Truth? you decide.

2006-09-23 04:29:44 PM

I for one welcome...etc.

2006-09-23 04:36:47 PM
i scream like a girl all the time - people expect it from me. i think the weatherman's kinda-'cute'/unrestrained/honest for screaming like a girl. people have irrational fears of certain small fly-y/crawly things. . . i.e. spiders, rats, mice, bugs, bees.

2006-09-23 04:37:41 PM
I still think that's a white guy in blackface.

american logic: fear of roaches = gay.

wtf? i thought it's supposed to read: sexual attraction for men = gay.

? anyone ?

There wasn't a whole lotta masculinity in that fellow..
Assumptions come from that, right or wrong.

dude some straight guys are girly (like l.a. guys) and some gay guys are manly (bears, etc.) this stereotype shiat has gotta go.

I would have calmly snatched up the roach and put in on the blue screen over New Jersey where it belongs.

2006-09-23 04:43:28 PM
When I heard it on O & A, I thought it was some Clay Akin look-a-like.

Now that I saw the actual clip, I was surprised, but it fits.

And to CBS about the 'three hours' thing, this is what normal people call a joke.
Lighten up for once, media.

/Reminds me of that dumb chick who was reporting about a family's pet mouse that was a hero or something and freaked out and stomped it to death.

I can usually laugh at anything without remorse, but I always feel guilty laughing at that one.

But I still laugh every damn time.

It's not what it seems??? NOT WHAT IT SEEMS?!

That video is exactly what it seems. We can see what it 'seems.'

That article is just some idiot reporter trying to stick up for reporters in some kind of 'reporters can do no wrong fashion.'

They need to learn to laugh at themselves.

2006-09-23 04:46:03 PM
There's a back story, and it highlights one of the problems with YouTube and sites like it. Online, things are not always what they seem.

OMG! You mean that the internet provides information with little or no context?!!! Thank god television is still a bastion of wwell thought out and context rich information!

/reporter is a retard

But research (see Michael Bailey's for instance) has demonstrated that "girly" men are more likely to be gay statistically than are non-girly men. And most people can tell if someone is gay or not by their voice or by watching them (including watching an outline of their movements).

It's not a stereotype...it's most likely a biological predictor in many cases.

He may not be gay. I had a phobic reaction one time when killing a huge spider, and for no reason, I started to cry, and collapsed. I got up and killed the roach, and I had tears flowing the whole time.

Normally I'm a tough tomboy. My roommate spent the rest of the day laughing at me. I felt like I had no control over my reaction at all.

You killed the roach, but what happened to the huge spider?

Did it hide behind a clock or something?

How is this not exactly what it seems. It's some guy having a prolonged sissyfit over a bug. If you don't want people to see you acting like a sissy, don't be a sissy.

2006-09-23 05:01:13 PM
shoe + roach = dead roach

I guess stepping on the bastard was too much for him to handle?

WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE ROACHES!

2006-09-23 05:03:33 PM
Do gay guys have to work at sounding like a woman when they talk or is it just natural for most of them?

According to actual research on the topic, it appears to be the latter in most cases.
