Good headline. Subtle, pointed, effective. I approve.

I find 10 second clips are sufficent. Wait...what?!?

"Loop clip" is your friend?

TheOnanist instead of Loop clip I prefer freeze frame with 400% zoom right in on the "starlet's" eyes, that way you can actually see her soul dying a little bit more with each ATM moneyshot.

Has it ever been so noticeable that you stopped doing your thing and thought, "damn, that ain't right"?

No, not for me, either.

It's the Free Preview clips, get enough, and you don't need more.

Without the internet tubes I wouldn't be up to date on Entourage, Deadwood, or Weeds. I love being in the minority. Thanks to tivo-to-go, I don't have to watch these shows on my PC!

That was a good headline smitty

Keep up the good work :)

2006-09-05 12:01:27 PM
well, I need the first 90 seconds to get the story line, then the last 30 for business. I like to know why the cable guy came over in the first place and why she was wearing that latex when he showed up.

Geez... me, exceptional again.

I've done the entirety of startrek voyager in 2.5 weeks on Emule.
I've blown through 115 gigs straight download holding the modem pegged at 5.9mbps.
I used to sleep for the exact download time of a megabyte on a 14.4 modem at a time.

I downloaded movies before your daddy HAD e-mail! bwaahahahhaha!

2006-09-05 12:07:37 PM
I miss when Assparade and the BangBros network in general used to show the hardcore previews. Gimme three of those and I could mentally splice you the Apocalypse Now of porno.

I miss the good old days. Now I have to use my imagination.

2006-09-05 12:07:51 PM
Number41 you know the porno clips where the guy does something or tells the girl to do something really repugnant and you can see the girl start to get repulsed but then she looks at the camera and smiles and does as she is told, now that's acting!

2006-09-05 12:08:08 PM
curl + mpgtx + knowing where to look = free 20 minute pr0n scenes

And I don't download movies. I download BBC shows that they don't show in the states without Americanizing them or editing them to hell and back.

\Not really

2006-09-05 12:08:27 PM
The average goes way down when you consider the amount that get's Tivo'd and never watched. As for me, I don't have any premium cable channels, but with a broadband connection I can read all the news that I can handle. Didn't watch a single minute of the Iraq invasion on TV but I read volumes of material covering it. Don't get distracted by the pretty pictures, read the material.

Yet, you still use(d?) Emule. Slowlearner, eh?

You young'uns and your pre-mature willies.

Must be all us calloused old farts using up all that bandwidth.

A bunch of the remaining 80% probably will too once they figure out where files go after they click "save as."

It is called an S-Video cable. I have one and I run it from the computer to the TV no problem. I can watch all my anime, and pirated movies on my TV all the time, mainly because my wife wouldn't watch them any other way.

2006-09-05 12:11:25 PM
Obviously 80% of the intranets has yet to hear about bittorrent..

2006-09-05 12:11:31 PM
Thank you smitty! I needed a good laugh.

S-Video Cable

When we were setting up our entertainment center, I ran an S-Video cable from the back of my to the top of the system and left it there. I also ran a hookup for my stereo up there. My wife said "Why did you do that?" Two episodes of Dr. Who later, (which I received 100% legally by flying over to the UK, recording it to VHS and copying it to my laptop for easy transport), she understood.

eMule is great for grabbing the back catcalogue of TV shows.

djtodd: eMule is great for grabbing the back catcalogue of TV shows.

The catcalogue?

Anyway, for tv shows I still prefer the torrents or, still better, the .nzb indexing web page because they have catcegories. And I can't lived without those catcegories. It makes the search so much easier.

The sound of one hand clapping submitter.

The other hand making a "slicka slicka" sound.

I only download TV shows or movies that aren't available in the US. If I like them enough, I'll either buy them when they are availble here or spend the money to have them shipped overseas.

For everything else, there's Netflix.

2006-09-05 12:25:51 PM
If it takes you more than 2 minutes, you're either really good or, well, really bad.

2006-09-05 12:26:27 PM
20%? That just can't be right.

*Is apart of that 20%.*

2006-09-05 12:35:14 PM
That headline....

So awesome!

2006-09-05 12:36:35 PM
I do handstands when I find free clips that are 30 seconds long.
The ones with the close up of dudes faces are such mood killers though.

2006-09-05 12:44:18 PM
Indeed riceguy7, indeed.

2006-09-05 12:44:46 PM
I have downloaded all of Babylon 5, Farscape, The Lone Gunmen, Firefly, MacGyver The A-Team, The Dirty Dozen, The Great Escape, The Boys from Brazil, Kelly's Heroes, Serenity, 15 Star Trek Episodes, about 180 gigs worth via EMule for the obscure stuff and Bittorrent for the more popular stuff, but I haven't saved most of them.

Ok look here,

If it takes you longer than 2 minutes when you're jerking off, who are you trying to impress? The Lara Croft action figure on top of your monitor?

2006-09-05 12:58:49 PM
The reason it's 20% is because 20% of the population is into obscure, quickly cancelled TV shows that never get released on DVD or shown in reruns.

It's called the Long Tail.
