At least one of those is wrong. The UK-Michigan State game at Ford Field drew 78,000, so that beats the attendance "record" they claim.

Not that it's meaningful, but this French site (pops) lists the tallest player at 2.45m (8' 0.5").

Most people call him Gheorge (or Georgie) Muresan. He too was 7'7".

There is a North Korean basketball player named Michael Ri who is 7'9". There is also a Chinese player named Sun Ming Ming who is 7'8".
