The creationists have been shown how silly their argument is, this is the last we will hear from them. They understand the disease cures that are available solely as a result of the study of evolution, they see that creation and faith do not produce such results when held up to testing. I am glad they were willing to listen to reasonable debate and admit when the facts do not support their position.

The whole ID argument was a beard for getting creationism in public schools.

2006-08-02 08:29:34 AM
The whole farking state of Kansas is proof that evolution, as most people understand it, does not farking exist!

Go Moderate Republicans!

Like the SPM, ID is a multi headed ideology tho - there are still one or two left yet I reckon.

But why? Why would FSM use his noodly appendage to bring to power those that defy him? I try to be a good pastafarian, but its so hard sometimes.

The only hope for their odd beliefs is to shoehorn it into the school system with odd lawsuits and fundy schoolboards. Sadly for them, people got wise and are simply voting them out.

Pat Robertson says god will take his revenge on them though, so I guess things are even-Steven.

You know the guy who used to lead the Human Genome Project is a Christian, right? Then again, that would destroy your petty and baseless statement, which really wouldn't stop you from making any more petty and baseless statements, so what's the point.

It's okay, AdmiralHackbar. FSM knows what He's doing. This is a test of faith. FSM understands how hard this world is to understand sometimes. Just know that FSM loves you, as He loves all His children and meatballs, and hang in there.

/Gonna write a "Pasta for the Soul" book at some point.

Meh, even the Pope released a statement that accepts evolution as a scientifically accepted fact back in 1996 and in 2006 the Vatican newspaper published an article saying "intelligent design" is not science and that teaching it alongside evolutionary theory in school classrooms only creates confusion.

I don't know.

Ask Billdozer, oh touchy one.

Gosh, I love how it's only Moderate Republicans against Conservative Republicans. I thought something was wrong with this country when we had only two political parties. Turns out I was wrong. The answer is always less. I am such an idiot.

2006-08-02 08:44:39 AM
the moderate republican is from Liberal. too confusing.

cheers, it really is. I really enjoyed it and it's a knock to those who say that religion and science are two entities that can never mix.

2006-08-02 08:47:07 AM
If you want to teach creationism, we may as well go back to banging rocks together and running around naked.

Oh, I forgot, that didn't happen in the fairy tale.

Well, I spent a lot of time in school confused too, especially by math. Should we remove math as well?

Better yet, we'll remove the Jewish texts from the Christian ones, and you'll stop being confused.

Morris, a former teacher, has described evolution as "an age-old fairy tale" and "a nice bedtime story" unsupported by science

My head asplode.
