"Saturday Night Live" head writer and "Weekend Update" co-anchor Tina Fey confirmed she's leaving the latenight show to focus full-time on new laffer "30 Rock." Also, "SNL" exec producer Lorne Michaels said the show will return with a smaller cast next season, with several major longtime cast members expected to leave. Michaels blamed the cast cuts, in part, on "massive cuts" in NBC's programming budget that he believes "are probably companywide."
Pleas please PLEASE God, let Horatio Sanz be one of those leaving!!!

Actually I really am anticipating the new TV season. There's a whole bunch of shows I'm interested in seeing.

Daybreak (concept is 24 mixed with Groundhog Day, and I LOVE THE IDEA!)
Heroes
Kidnapped

Maybe they'll dump The Office behind another boring and only mildly amusing show. And then market the shiat out of that bland and boring program while completely ignoring The Office and the massive following it's created.

Go NBC.

What the hell happened to The Office? I didn't see it get mentioned in there.

vanity: Sorry to make a similar post a minute and a half after you. They did jump the shark when Jim and Pam kissed, though.

NBC? what channel is that? Never heard of it.

"NBC will rock the boat" is Variety speak
for "Same old stuff again this fall".

At least they're giving PSYCH a broadcast
TV run. That show is the best thing on
USA since MONK (which has only recently
recovered from unceremoniously dropping
Biddy Schramm).
