sexual harassment doesn't apply to the president of the US. because in order to prosecute, the lawyers might ask embarassing questions, and said prez may have to lie under oath.

Pro Zack: eriously, why do folks allow clinton to be a "regular guy" and wank an intern(something I would be fired for)then break the law, and scream foul when bush has a bit of a social faux pas?

Because Monica was consenting and Merkel clearly wasn't ?

Leon: Ooooooh.

Psycho: You just made the list, buddy. Also, I don't like no one touching my stuff. So just keep your meathooks off. If I catch any of you guys in my stuff, I'll kill you. And I don't like nobody touching me. Any of you homos touch me, and I'll kill you.

Sergeant Hulka: Lighten up, Francis.

"Back home, my friends called me 'The Cruiser'...'cause I like fast card and fast women, heh heh!"

I didn't care that he swore with the mic on. Who cares. Kinda funny actually. But you don't go touching people inappropriately. Would he have done this if the chancellor was male? No. He needs to behave and stop this nonsense or I'll start calling him Clinton Jr.

How am I supposed to teach my children right from wrong when they see this guy acting like this in public.

First he's talking with his mouth full. I don't care that he said the S word...but Jeez..whadda pig. I'm always telling my kids not to talk with food in their mouths.

Now this...It's called personal space. Stay out of it.

If it really happened the way the DU people clipped it up to look like, CNN/MSNBC/even Fox would be running with it.

Well it wouldn't be an unwanted neckrub if the giver was hot.

This is Fark though... always consider your sources! DU is just the left version of NewsMax. Both should be taken with a grain of salt. (Drudge too I suppose..)

I do this all the time, but only to hot women. If I don't do this to you, it's because you're ugly and you should feel shame for your ugliness. You're probably stupid too and have no redeeming qualities.

The US president touched a woman that isn't his wife and said shiat!

"Americans are tired of investigations and scandal, and the best way to get rid of them is to elect a new president who will bring a new administration, who will restore honor and dignity to the White House."

Anyone else think Bush is having a bit of a mental breakdown recently?

Recently? No. There's just more attention on him right now because there's a ton of shiat going on, and he's totally powerless to do anything about it, hence we are more likely to notice it.

IMHO, that's the real issue with the "shiat" tape--not that he swore (who cares), but that it showed how little he understands the situation, and how unable he is to do anything. I mean, damn, his main idea is to "call Kofi" and get him to "do something." Hilarious, given the fact that the GOP talks trash about the UN at every opportunity, yet Bush's only idea is to...call the UN.

Yeah, he probably would have.

He doesn't strike me as someone who has been put into a paranoid state by political correctness.

On a geological scale, I'd say yes, Bush is having a bit of a mental breakdown recently.

Ewwww... I would take a shower afterwards.

Massages from people you don't know (and if unwanted) are usually really creepy.

There are some exceptions but that one there seems really creepy.

Politics aside (and I don't care for any of the Republicrats), George W. is an odd duck. There's something about him that makes me uncomfortable at a personal level. And something that makes Frau Merkel uncomfortable too.

I shouldn't talk, but I wish the US could come up with a system that produces normal, decent, intelligent candidates for president instead of the set of abnormal psychology specimens that we seem to get. But I suppose normal people have better things to do with their lives.

2006-07-18 12:20:55 PM
Does anybody have better quality pictures or perhpas a vidoe of that incident?

Facial expressions and context are a bit hard to make out in these.

Is it just me or does Bush look a bit lost and unfocused in these pictures. He could just be tired or jet-lacked I guess.

I hate it when people touch me like that. You had better be my girlfriend or a relative to touch me. There is this one friend of my roommates that's always touching on the back or the arm and lets it linger a bit. Freaks me out and makes me uncomfortable.

And if you touch any of my stuff, I'll kill you.

Lighten up Francis.

Frankly, I think he looks to be at least somewhat stoned or drunk in some of the pictures, especially the last one.

Anyone else think Bush is having a bit of a mental breakdown recently?

In the latter days of Watergate, Nixon roamed the halls of the Whitehouse at night talking to the portraits of the previous presidents.

The thing I continue noticing out of those pictures from St. Petersburg is the more disheveled look to his hair, as if he may have repeatedly run his fingers through his hair or scratched his head. I've also noticed the detached unfocused look in his eyes and face.

"Oh NOES!!!!! he jokingly touched the German Chancellor Oh NOES!!! He cursed while having a private conversation with Britain's Prime Minister. Oh NOES!!!! there are real, life threatening problems going on in the world but who cares. The US president touched a woman that isn't his wife and said shiat!"

Someone have any instances of other world leaders acting like an asshat at the G8 summit? Even BLAIR has had more sense and decorum.

It's not the gesture that irks me. It's the looks he is getting from everyone else as he enters and leaves the scene. Sadly, they know if they remark or react to his stupidity their country will lose aid or become a glass parking lot.

So fark yeah, it does matter to me how not only how other leaders see and hear him but also the rest of the goddamn world. But I know it's too late for that. He has said and done enough to destroy his credibility a thousand times over.

Looked a lot like the chicks that skeezy no-game-having dudes would try pulling this on back in high school. If you haven't figured out that it's a lame and mostly weird move to pull, well, uh...

I know, Democracy is a biatch isn't it? The electoral college should just pay attention to the elite. Of course, dictatorships & oligarchies produce some weird characters too. The only difference being that you can't remove the latter except by revolution.
