I live in Tampa Bay. I had to unplug my computer earlier for fear of electrocution.

So no it wasn't.

But thanks for carrying on a new lame ass Fark cliche, subby. My hat is off to you.

2006-07-03 11:01:59 PM
It's the only picture of lightning I'll see today, dumbass.

2006-07-03 11:02:33 PM
I think Submitter is right.

2006-07-03 11:03:49 PM
I find it ignorant that one assumes that's the coolest one I've seen today.

I find it ignorant that one assumes that's the coolest one I've seen today.

I find it about as ignorant as this biatch telling me "your welcome" at the end of her directwav commercial.

Simply dead wrong.

I hope there isn't a clock on that building...

/1.21 Gigawatts!

2006-07-03 11:30:06 PM
The only thing that can generate the necessary 1.21 jigowatts of electricity is a bolt of lightning!

2006-07-03 11:33:35 PM
Yeah, the best pic. Kudos submitter.

2006-07-03 11:34:02 PM
Once again my submission of 'Most Well Hung Shemale You Will See Today' has been rejected.

It's all politics, people.

I know a trend when I see one.

Just haven't figured out how to profit yet.

2006-07-03 11:37:13 PM
why is it the"coolest photo I will see all day" is almost always lightning or some newly discovered celestial phenomenon. Why isn't it ever a midget with Peanut butter slathered across his neck and a poodle strapped to his back. That would be the coolest photo I would see any day.

Yikes, I've been there.

2006-07-03 11:54:54 PM
Quermaq?

Where I come from that is totally SFW.

You must be from the midwest.

The effort is certainly appreciated though.

It will do.

For now.

Leave a camera shutter open long enough during a lightning storm (particularly one pointed toward a lightning rod), and you'll get similar pics.

2006-07-04 12:14:23 AM
Meh, the lightning storm over Boise last night was by far more impressive.

2006-07-04 12:31:59 AM
I just did a GIS on lightning. This was not the coolest one. Lots of people on this site act like they know photgraphy but they dont. Especially submitter.

2006-07-04 12:32:22 AM
Nope, this one is the coolest:

www.animationstation.net

Because it has Mickey Rooney in it. Duh.

Finally, a background to replace the Dell on my pc.

2006-07-04 12:37:01 AM
Please tell me that the architects who design these types of buildings (glorified lightning rods with people working in them) figured out a way so that every time is building is struck (once, twice 3x a month?) it powers the whole place for eleven years or so...

that would be truly awesome... nice pic too!

2006-07-04 12:45:31 AM
Sorry, architects are limited by the technology of today. We'd love to sotre lighting bolts if we could but we can't. Not yet.

Mike Bolton: Couldn't possibly agree more. My fiancee and I are fascinated and repelled by the Directway/Hughesnet dame. She looks vaguely reptilian, has the worst haircut in life, and a figure like a regulation bowling pin, yet she's a spokesmodel. Just doesn't add up!

Where I come from, we can spell names correctly, AND assume people work in a variety of environments.

You must be from Dumbass Land.

The effort is certainly appreciated though.

It will do.

For now.

I still think my midget pic was cooler.

HickPrincess, that's harsh. It's a cool pic. I've seen better but not, as submitter says, today.

"It's arive...arive!!!"

/that's racist!

2006-07-04 04:15:16 AM
I agree it's the coolest I've seen today, but hey the day just started for me.

2006-07-04 04:51:04 AM
Postage stamp size pics dont even begin to qualify as cool.
If you cant post a picture with a decent resolution dont bother.

2006-07-04 07:44:52 AM
Good way to start the day!

My cousin is a pilot for UPS and was in Shanghai on that date. I chatted to him on Yahoo and he was telling me that there were thunderstorms in the area.
