There's a tendency around here (in Ontario) to assume that our politics are at all crazy, unique and/or interesting. I suppose this comes of so many decades of provincial politics being downright boring.

Ontario has had a taste the last few years of American politics. I agree telling you American people about this will do nothing more than draw yawns, no matter how outraged people up here might be over bits of it. Pay us no mind. I'll do what I can to discourage my compatriots from bothering you with it.

Restaurants? I'm pretty easy to please. Philthy McNasty's in the Westmount Plaza in Waterloo is probably my favourite "restaurant with taps" type place around here. This guy has a pretty good run-down. He's generally more harsh than I'd be, which probably makes him a better critic.

For strip bars, I can't say. The Dollhouse in Bidgeport (Bridge and Lancaster in Kitchener) defines seedy, so I suppose it's gotta be good.

And yeah, Kitchener sucks bag. :)
