That's fine by the west. The U.S. and Britian also need to buy time to try and stabalize Iraq before they can continue their plans to use it and Afghanistan as a "strangle hold" base for putting the squeeze on Iran.

There are laws that say a child molester cannot babysit or a felon own a gun. There is no law that says Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. This is because they are a sovereign nation. Being sovereign means you can do what you want(until someone invades you).

All joking aside, there is a law saying Iran cannot have nukes. Even if there weren't such a law, countries are different and should be treated accordingly. The British government is a responsible steward of nuclear weaponry. I would not bet money on similar responsibility by the Iranian government.

Back to the joke, I am curious why you picked Mexico off the list and not, say, Somalia. Somalia is sovereign. If the current band of people in charge of Mogadishu got a nuke, would that be okay with you?

Because most countries,especially the USA aren't stating every week that Israel must be blown off the map.
Also most Countries aren't supporting terrorist organization like Iran does with $$ millions of dollars regularly donated .
These 2 reasons & several others clearly show why Iran can't have nuclear weapons.
To put it bluntly : Iran will use the damn things in surprise attacks against it's enemies , namely the USA & Israel .
This gives the USA & Pres. Bush the right to intervene & push it's weight around Iran & the Middle east .

In the event that the USA obliterates Iran for what ever reason. No other country would launch a nuclear attack agianst the USA in retaliation .
China may threaten to as it would be PISSED OFF that it's source of oil is glowing in the dark now ,but it wouild lead to nuclear armageddon & the end of the human race !
If the USA ever is attacked with WMD's(weapon of mass destruction) the US Govt. will respond with a HUGE nuclear counter attack that the hostile country won't survive !
