Nashville police officials said they shelved the case after an investigation because of its "low solvability."

Low Solvability? You have a farking PICTURE of the two jackasses!

Any bets that this is a stunt being pulled by the 'victim' coffee shop? I mean it's not like a sub-average java hole could get advertising like this any other way.

the world-famous AWOL pastry.

Sorry... never heard of it...

Nashville police officials said they shelved the case after an investigation because of its "low solvability motivation to solve such a whimsical case."

/fixed that for 'em

I saw the nun bun many a-times. I'm betting it was college (or former) students from one of the nearby colleges.

These persons broke into the shop, therefore breaking and entering. It would not be wish to show up and say "ha! ha!"

2006-06-20 05:03:54 PM
wish = wise.

Okay . . . I've got a half-sized statue of Jack Daniel on my back deck. I've been waiting for ten years for someone to steal it and send me pictures of it on vacation. Instead it's been sitting there gathering bird poop.

Go ahead . . . make Jack's day!

/I live in Birmingham.
//You figure out which back deck.
///I'm the NRA.
////And so are many of my neighbors.

actually clicked on the story wondering why nuns had resorted to stealing buns.

/nuns gone wild?
//they do live in con-vents
///perhaps they were nuns too soon?

BaronStaring: Any bets that this is a stunt being pulled by the 'victim' coffee shop?

I don't think so - the owner doesn't seem to be the type of person to do that. He had his fun with the nunbun being on letterman, the t-shirts, all that jazz, but really he's got a pretty hopping joint now for other reasons...

I think it's just some kids having a really fun time...

I know, not quite, but some kid at the Publix kept calling them "nun buns". They are tasty though.

So the nun bun scum are on the run ?
Sounds like a que for some pun fun

The cops should tap the phones at GoldenPalace.com

These guys will be calling soon enough.

No, you have a picture of two jackasses with the item in question. Unless you find them in possession of said pastry or link them to the burglary, they're innocent until proven guilty
