Step mom told me that my dad and sister both had to work today, getting ready for their plants shutdown. Turns out that it is really next weekend, but I've alreay made plans to go to the inlaws. Grrr.

Dad's still on his morning run. At 72, he still runs marathons and wears out the grandkids. I'm sure he'll outlive me and be exceedingly smug about it. Happy Father's Day dad!

my dad is a good guy, but he's starting to lose it. Spent 45 minutes trying to move a car trailer when we had a vehicle with a hitch on it sitting right there. But no... gotta use the lawn tractor. And the rat bastard has TWO, count them, two 1950s Austin Healy Bug-eye Sprites in the garage and he won't give me either one.

Wow. Reading some of these replies has made me realize how blessed I am. Dad is still with me, as is Grandpa. I also have adult sons who all turned out pretty good and a step-son who is nothing short of amazing. I'm taking none of it for granted and wish all of you could enjoy this day as much as I do.

Harry's pretty happy about it.
Has dementia but still knows us, still has his sick sense of humor and still knows how to pi@$ Mom Larj off.

On the way out to brunch with my dad, mom, and my daughter. Been a single dad raising a little girl most all her life.

I'm blessed to still have my parents and the greatest little girl ever (well, most of the time)
