If you want to look up takoyaki on the web, you'll get more results by spelling it correctly.

Do you know why the octopus balls were a hit with the punters?

Drugs. The druggie has put little stashes into the mix and got other hooked instead.

Genius.

In Cagayan de Oro, he reveals his franchised dealer earns a net income of P300,000 monthly from six outlets.

When I was in the Philippines last year, the exchange rate was around 55 pesos to 1 dollar, so their net income for six outlets is around $5400/month, or about $900/month per outlet. Doesn't sound like a lot, but when a good salary in the Philippines is around $1200/year - then yeah, this guy's doing pretty well for himself.

Takoyaki! That stuff can solve anything...

Takoyaki is great, but I don't know if I'd call it a Japanese Delicacy as in the article. It's more "fast food", but it's definately tasty.

Infact, I may go out for some tonight :)

Once again, Japanese junk food solves everything!

Now gimme my ramen. Takeout quality, none of that dried-up instant shiat.

Did anyone else read the byline as "by fondling" instead of "by founding?"

We want to open a Takoyaki stand here. Takoyaki/okonomiyaki shop. Would you guys come and eat there?

@ Batface: Helps to know where 'here' is.

batface

I would, but I've lived in Osaka and have a liking for both. There is an okonomiyaki shop here in Toronto, and it does alright. I don't know if takoyaki will fly here.
