Hello, the other teachers are adults and professionals. The kids aren't quite as delicate as you imagine, either. I remember occasionally missing everything said in class because I was hot for teacher (or more often, hot for a girl sitting near me.) My teachers successfully hid their sexual lives from me, and I can't imagine how an incident like this would have made my schoolboy distractions any different. Junior high kids already think about the fact that grown-ups have sex, like, all the time, and how weird that is and kinda hot when you think about it in relation to certain teachers, and creepy in relation to the old/ugly ones.

This doesn't change anything about that. They know people have sex, they have a rough idea how it works, and they do quite a bit of wondering about it. By the time you're eleven years old, the stork is waaaay out of the picture. An R-rated glimpse of two consenting adults isn't going to scar them a week, let alone forever.

The teachers are essentially done at that school for the next year or two. They *will* be known as the teachers "that did the deed."

There is tremendous variation among 12-14 year old young women, as well.

Some are still playing with Barbie and haven't gotten their minds 100% around the concept that their parents have had sex more times than they have brothers and sisters, others like the idea of sex more than the reality (so they'll either go online and/or read the trashiest romance novels) and still others have done things that'd make 90% of Farkers blush.

Therefore, the students will be affected in different ways -- saying "oh, they'll get over it" is rather condescending and disdainful of how individual young women mature.

Regarding her status as a wife:
If he and she, like the vast majority of relationships, are in a relationship with the expectancy of sexual exclusivity, then this does not bode well. It is hardly as if they have been married 20+ years and either or both partners have allowed themselves to evolve into unattractive shells of their former selves. Or, as if she is feeling underappreciated raising three kids and a husband whose first words when he gets home is an angry, "Where's supper?" Or, if he is working 12+ hour days with her calling him 10 times a day to whine about "crises" such as a light bulb burning out.

Infidelity at this relatively early stage of the marriage is probably more out of immaturity -- which really shouldn't be an issue at the age of 29.

Regarding the side track:
I must be ugly, since I don't seem to have hordes of single women knocking down my door hoping to have sex with me, like some of the other Farkers in this thread. Or maybe I'm just not looking hard enough, which is a good thing if my wife expects, and gives, sexual exclusivity.
