(CBC)   Karla Homolka has lost her legal battle to change her name, which is fine, since "Teenagegirl Rapistand Psychopathicserialkiller" wouldn't look great on letterhead anyway   ( divider line

3 murders != serial killer. This is a serial killer:

Traxis: 3 murders != serial killer.

But when you convert from metric, that's like five victims in the US.

I'd hit it.

I'd hit with my car.

What name did she want her name changed to?

Apparently murder can mean a good future in politics, ask Ted Kennedy about that some time.

I watched a special done on this wacko, and one of the investigators said that although Paul Bernardo was a serial rapist, he never killed anyone until he got involved with Karla.

In Canada, you can legally change your name to whatever you want, just by using it in your everyday interactions with people, friends, family. Can't remember the length of time. And it can't be so you can break the law by using a different name (i.e., fraud).

However, you will not have any legal ID in your new name until you apply to the courts for a legal change of name. You must continue to use your legal (birth certificate, etc.) ID until your legal change of name has been completed.

You must have a reason, but the reason can be as simple as "this is the name I am known by, and have been known by, for XXX years" or whatever, in your court documents.

If you qualify, you can have it all paid for through legal aid. Once the change is granted by the courts, your birth certificate is changed, and voila!

/did legal change of name processing in a previous life

I'd hit it.

The movie "Karla" is good. You should check it out if you an find it.

Laura Prepon does a spot on Karla in the m0vie.

Rock on.

The only problem I have with the Karla movie, is that it seems to portray Karla Homolka as a brainwashed victim with Stockholm syndrome. Which doesn't seem to be the case.

What, are you insinuating she killed them in parallel?

Hmm... Corporations can change their name to fool people after they get in trouble (Val-u-jet -> Airtran), so why not people?
2006-06-09 06:16:31 PM
I would hit it. If she was tied up very securely. I would be very afraid to get nekkid near her. Scary farking biatch.

"Photo 2. Christina Sherry, left, who lured girls to a Montreal apartment where they were sexually assaulted, and Karla Homolka entertain other inmates by modelling black dresses."

Wow, prison must have been HORRIBLE! Looks like she's making nice friends, too.
2006-06-09 07:08:21 PM
She should have realized that the real money's in business and politics, not relative raping. Sure, you don't get to personally kill people so much, but impersonally, you can more than make up for it in volume.
2006-06-09 07:13:41 PM
You really wanna squirm about the Bernardo/Homolka case? Read Deadly Innocence, by Scott Burnside and Alan Cairns. The details will make you want to puke. Seriously, these two were farking sick. Although Paul Bernardo's attempts at becoming a rapper are kinda funny.

I am from the hometown of the victim, Leslie Mahaffy her abduction occured just blocks from my parents home, and her body along with Kristen French was discovered just a few minutes away from my Church. The devastation that was caused to the families of the victims and the community was so unbelievable that I can't comprehend a judge would even entertain Homolka for having any civil rights, or privledges such as a name change. Just the fact that she gets the gratification of making the news sickens me. Lets just ignore her and if their is any justice in this world, because there certainly isn't in the Canadian judicial system, the guilt of her horrific crimes will cripple her.
2006-06-09 07:30:21 PM
Paul Bernardo's got some skill. I really dug "Baby Got Gag", "I Could Just Kill Your Sister", "Holla Homolka", and "Gin and Ludes".
2006-06-09 08:02:48 PM
So are her videos available online?

/that's hot
2006-06-09 09:05:07 PM
Somebody want to tell me why this biatch is still alive? She should have been killed the minute she got out of prison.
2006-06-09 09:24:57 PM
biatch single-handedly ruined the Jewish answer to Christmas.

I'm living in the States now, but I was in Toronto when all that and the Scarborough rapist stuff happened. I picked up a copy of that book here, and I read it. After I was done, I actually burnt the booked. Burnt the damn thing. I just watched it go up in flames. I didn't want anyone in the house or anyone I knew to see it, that book was that true, and that bad. It wasn't pandering, there's just some things that are so evil there's no way to spin it.

I love that chick. She can come live with me in South Florida.

She's hotter than a snake's ass in a wagonrut.

If they brought back burning at the stake for this one particular chick, I'd not only split the firewood, I'd even pay for the marshmellows.

Quebec was more inviting to her, thus her wanting to be there [and learning french in prison], and the quebec superior court lifted her restrictions due to "lack of evidence"? you've got to be kidding me.

/wished they'd send her back to federal prison
//without the protective custody

wiki has a recent pic of her,,, oy,,,old ho now

Apparently murder can mean a good future in politics, ask Ted Kennedy about that some time.

It can also help to marry a murderer. Ask George Bush about that sometime. :)
2006-06-10 09:33:29 AM
I love the logic of people here. Homolka is a killer so we should kill her. Yep, that would bring the victims back.

Homolka/Teale has the right, in my opinion, to protect herself from all you redneck vigilantes. As far as I am concerned, she should be allowed to change her name without public scrutiny so we can get her off welfare and into a job.

You can't change the past. You can only make the best possible decisions about the present.

Agreed. Wayne Brady needs to choke the biatch.
