/Wait...Jerry Lewis is still alive?

I blame Mel Brooks. After all: making a stage
version of THE PRODUCERS was, on paper, a hideously
BAD idea and should have been the poster child for
what has been wrong with Broadway for a generation.

Damnit if he didn't do a great job with it, and
now every idiot wants to make their movie into
a stage musical.

This one could work. Maybe.

I always said that Buddy Love was Lewis' dig
at Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack for 'kicking
him out' when Martin & Lewis broke up.

Who'll play Grandma Klump?

"You'll walk over, but you're limping back."

/knows it's a different movie; just loved those family scenes in what was otherwise a mediocre movie.

I was going to submit this with the scary tag, too, but I didn't have as good a headline (or grammer) as the smitty.
