Step 1) Decide to be a leader

Step 2) Choose a location, a date and a time

Step 3) Submit a link to Fark (Choose Fark Party as the link type)

Step 4) Meet several people from your area, hang out and have a good time. Drink some beer, talk about Fark stories

For an added bonus, check to see if Drew will be in town soon, or would like to come to town to attend your well planned and populated party.

I don't think there's much interest in a Columbus party.
2006-05-31 11:25:11 PM
No one comes to Albany, Georgia by choice.
2006-05-31 11:25:19 PM
Jeff: Step 1) Decide to be a leader

Pfft....if I had that kind of initiative, you think I'd be hanging out here all the time?
2006-05-31 11:25:31 PM
I don't know if there's anyone else from Seattle.
2006-05-31 11:25:41 PM
The only bar in my town is the one where the guy shot his computer in front of the it's a GO!
2006-05-31 11:26:20 PM

2006-05-31 11:26:29 PM
Any Farkers within a decent distance of Farmington Hills, MI? Got a few ideas for where we could have a decent Fark party.
2006-05-31 11:26:37 PM
the Ocean City party was awesome, and the other two Fark parties I've been to in Vancouver were well attended as well. Can we have another one closer to metro NY/NJ next?
2006-05-31 11:27:03 PM
1) Been there done that.
2) Fark Atlanta 2006
3) I got three greenlights from it.
4) The list isn't updated, but I've met a lot of cool people. Don't sit around and wait for good times to happen.

2006-05-31 11:27:28 PM
Every time I try this all I get are stories about how farkers aren't allowed to cross the border anymore. Kinda like how I couldn't cross the border to go to the big Niagara party.

//email in the usual place
2006-05-31 11:27:28 PM
GoDeep: 2) Fort Lauderdale, FL, [Any Saturday/Sunday, 12-8pm}.

I live in Miami, and have always wanted to attend a Fark party.
2006-05-31 11:27:34 PM

2006-05-31 11:27:39 PM
Would anybody be interested in a Charlotte Fark party? We've been getting some bad press, I think now would be a good time to show some togetherness. If there's any interest, I'll come up with a time/place when I get my new work schedule.
2006-05-31 11:27:44 PM
it's not a Fark party per sey, but farkers are more than welcome and there will be a representitive sample of the local farkers there - SakeToMe 6/16/06 - email's in profile if you want more info.

Nashville, TN.
2006-05-31 11:27:56 PM
Yes, reerees unite! Worship the leader and leave mom's basement for a few hours. (Don't forget the added bonus of DUI on the way home to mama & PMITAP.)

2006-05-31 11:28:03 PM
I so want to have an Omaha fark party, but I'm only 20 :(
2006-05-31 11:28:09 PM
Any Motgomery CO MD Farkers out there tonight?
2006-05-31 11:28:22 PM
I owe most of my greenlights to Fark parties. I ain't witty, but sure know how to tell people to show up at a certain bar and get drunk.
2006-05-31 11:28:42 PM
This is entirelly too complicated. The only time I can really do step number two is first thing in the morning.
2006-05-31 11:28:45 PM
I brought up the idea for a cleveland fark party about 3 months ago. nobody responded. WTF.
2006-05-31 11:28:48 PM

2006-05-31 11:29:14 PM
How about a Kiwi piss-up... Drew planning on coming down-under any time soon? ;)
2006-05-31 11:29:15 PM
We had a Minneapolis Fark party in March of '03 at the Loon. Drew was there, as well as 45 other farkers (registered or not).

It was a farking blast.

But the weird part?

It was during the 'shock and awe' portion of the Iraq invasion. So there we were, a bunch of geeks whose only common ground is some comedy site, tossing back beers, talking about boobies and weeners and the queue and college basketball...and the whole time the televisions are showing nothing but war coverage. It was really odd.

Great time though.
2006-05-31 11:29:49 PM

Pffft.... like any farkers live near Tampa.
2006-05-31 11:30:04 PM
Whamdangler: After all this time, I finally read your profile. All I can say is: if there's a Ft. Lauderdale Fark party, I am paying for your round-trip ticket, just so that I can have a talk with you. And yes, you can print this out for future reference. Consider it my marker.

2006-05-31 11:30:12 PM
Nobody will come to Auburn unless there is a football game...

There's four or five TFer's in Montgomery though. . .
2006-05-31 11:30:17 PM
GoDeep, Orlando Farker here, I'm up for it.
2006-05-31 11:30:21 PM
You dont really have to have the party in a bar - I've been to several parties that were in hotels or at the local TGIFridays or Bennigans or whatever.
2006-05-31 11:30:27 PM

What's up Fox Valley??? Ha ha my last night in this stinktown (GB)... I move tomorrow to Madison for good BUT would certainly come back for a fark party...
mebbe Curly's??? Hook it up!
2006-05-31 11:30:31 PM
Wait wait wait. WTF is a party?

Err...I mean... I go to parties all the time. With my girlfriend. She's from Canada, you wouldn't know her.
2006-05-31 11:30:54 PM
Im naked, drinking a beer, and posting. Does that qualify as a fark party?
2006-05-31 11:30:59 PM
Ha ha! I'm one step ahead of you all!
2006-05-31 11:31:09 PM
Blackie_NZ: piss-up

That's my new favorite phrase: piss-up. Nice.
2006-05-31 11:31:10 PM

Three cheers for an Indianapolis Fark Party!!!!!
2006-05-31 11:32:01 PM
DSM area farkers, c'mon, someone step up, love to attend but leading/planning ain't my area.
2006-05-31 11:32:45 PM
FeBolas: I live in Miami, and have always wanted to attend a Fark party.

I hear ya. I've been waiting for a SE Fla Fark party for years. Though, after all the shiat we've had to put up with because of the Florida tag, the rest of the Fark community should have to sponsor (i.e., pay for) it.

I know, this post deserves a Florida tag....

Seriously, let's decide when and where!
2006-05-31 11:33:00 PM
I've only seen one St. Louis party previously in the publicity tab. Are there any parties planned or in the making?
