Whatta dweeb.

What's the over/under on this guy being a TFer?

2006-05-29 08:43:02 PM
err...odds

Not quite sure how you'd make that an over/under

2006-05-29 08:46:00 PM
That is sad.

I suddenly feel much better about my own lack of a life.

A brought-back-from-the-dead 1978 Corvette

*gasp*

What have you done?

most likely the limited edition pace car model

*weeps*

There is only one car that can be made into a Batmobile.

A Lincoln Futura

Here is the one he miserably tried to replicate:

A perfectly good corvette? Isn't that an oxymoron?

Now, thank god he didn't do this to a Lotus Elise, or some other REAL sports car.

2006-05-29 09:55:10 PM
Fark y'all; I bet he gets more Bat-tang with that than all y'all combined!

2006-05-29 10:28:04 PM
I'd have a small amount of respect for his effort if he had bothered to clear up the car a bit. Especially look at the interior shots -- what a nasty rat hole. At least vacuum the thing, and wipe off the dirt and grime.

Loser.

2006-05-29 10:28:46 PM
It's kind of attractive, but then again I have no taste in cars.

umm... why aren't there any shots of the back? is there something... missing? or am i retard and i can't find the links to the pics...

Beats 99% of the ricer mods I've seen. I give him a 7/10 for dedication, and to be honest, the technical quality is good, albeit of dubious aesthetic quality.

Wow...that guy has some serious ADD/dickhead issues that need to be addressed...

2006-05-29 11:31:55 PM
I wouldn't be caught dead in that thing.

2006-05-29 11:32:52 PM
Where the fark is the back?!

"I'm still waiting for the right one."

I think Adam and Jamie had a better idea.

2006-05-29 11:36:50 PM
This looks like something my stupid ex would think of.

2006-05-29 11:36:51 PM
Um yeah... it looks like a badly modified Vette.

Oh wait, it IS a badly modified Vette.

I'm not a fan of Batman or the movies, but even I know the doors are so farking wrong on that car. Christ, at least get the farking steering wheel right.

This guy didn't even try.

cycotica: Wow...that guy has some serious ADD/dickhead issues that need to be addressed...

Q: Hey, you're being kind of a dick. What's up with that?
A: I hate writing FAQs. And I'm not being a dick. I'm being an elitist. There's a difference.
/heh heh

2006-05-29 11:38:08 PM
Oh man... I wonder how many Andy Capp Hot Fries bags are littering the backseat.
Some people have too much money.

2006-05-29 11:38:09 PM
Hey! Bad link! That ain't the Batmobile! That must have something to do with them "rubber-suit counterfeit-Batman movies."

Adam West is the ONLY Batman.

2006-05-29 11:38:22 PM
Now, really. That is one ugly car. It's like a the bad cosplay equivalent of a car mod.

I couldn't help but to notice the Lotus Elise has 180 hp and 130 ft/lbs of torque.

So.. yeah. Maybe we can do a weedeater motor swap one day for some real sports car performance.

2006-05-29 11:40:38 PM
good lord, he's done a Back to the Future car too.

2006-05-29 11:40:44 PM
He could have saved a lot of money if he'd just gotten the red swoopy Knight Rider light for the front end.

Yes, I know it was a Trans Am. Equally redneckey/dweeby, though.

/wants a tricked out DeLorean with a flux capacitor

/What's up with that, anyway???

WTF are you talking about the doors being "wrong"? It's the same detailing as on the movie car, same big round thing and same weird grooves.

2006-05-29 11:41:10 PM
Talk about having too much time on your hands.

Knew a guy once who kept telling everybody about this hot car he was building. He showed up in it one day...jacked in the back, racing slicks, hood scoop, flame paint job, the works.

It was a '74 Vega station wagon.

/seriously, it was

Those pics look heavily photoshopped to me. Only 3 of them (2nd & 4th pic, 2nd row and 4th pic, 3rd row) seem to have vaguely realistic shadows. The perspective looks strange on most of them, and there looks like funky masking around the edges of the vehicle.

I don't doubt that some dork would do this to a car, but I call BS on these pics.

Wow...I'm a little slow tonight...I just got that...

That license plate cover(?) in front of the car appears to be floating.

/or maybe it's just my bad eyesight.

Wheres the Fat Batgirl then?

2006-05-29 11:44:38 PM
OMFG they didn't make the classic, awesome-looking Batmobile from the 60s--they made the 1980s "Bat Dance"-mobile!

Dipshiats.

Courtney Cox-Zucker: I don't doubt that some dork would do this to a car, but I call BS on these pics.

I'm inclined to agree...if this assmaster knew enough to know that he potentially had a limited ed. '78 pace car edition on his hands, I somehow doubt he would be dumb enough to completely ruin its value by adding a bunch of styrofoam and fiberglass...

Then again, I could be wrong...

/And what's up with that?

Unless I read wrong, he bought it off someone?

Gotta go with Courtney Cox-Zucker on the BS/PS call. Photoshopping is pretty evident.

2006-05-29 11:51:08 PM
I'm glad he made the pics pretty big. That's my new desktop baby!!!

2006-05-29 11:52:02 PM
I've taken a closer look at some of the pics. Looks like they got those glue-on body parts from JC Whitney. Or wasted a lot of time with PS.
