Porsche Boxster = poor man's Porsche.

not the "Boxter S". more horsepower, better handling, and even has a CD player (what were they thinking when they order this with an 8-track errr.. cassette). It even fits Golf clubs in th trunk! there are enough old Porsches around for poor men to own one if they want.

also, all you talking about picking this (woman or car) up for 35K - there are still four days left in the auction. some nut will pay beg to get through the gates and sniff the seats of the car.

how much is the blue book on the car actually worth? (minus the young woman & the mansion)

2002-06-13 01:04:32 PM
According to kbb.com, the private-party blue book value is $39,420.

The Boxster is a nice little sports car, mid-engined with reasonable power. It would be a good buy at $20,000, new.

Boxsters are popular gifts for middle-aged entertainment execs to give their kept girls. The kept boys somehow end up with VW Jetta's.

who cares if she "presents" it?
doesnt mean youll get a pie of it or any other playmate at the mansion...
Who thinks you would?

Why would a playmate of the year sell off her brand new Porsche? She's probably making a killing from Hef, as well as other modelling offers, she should be set for life.

Guess she has to pay for the newly formed coke habit that comes from being a bigshot model.

Look at the neighborhood the car was photo'd in. Nice San Fernando Vally neighborhood. Perhaps she's not working as an escort, and has no sugar daddy, and needs the scratch... Her PMOY was back in 2001, and her Baywatch show was cancled back in 2000, I think.

Or maybe she just bought an '03 911, and doesn't care about the boxster.

As I understand it, the PB gig is not that lucrative. It certainly won't set a girl up for life. She get's paid for the photo sessions and appearances, and PMOY just means more sessions and appearances. Plus, it's a time limited job. After a while (three? four years?) PB just doesn't want to hear from her.

What, what am I huffing? A Playmate that's not a ho? Yah, dream on...

"2 Doors" though... that's always good to know up front...

DrRatchet said it best. "Reasonable" power. I don't like Porsche, but if I did I would be too embarrassed to drive one with specs like that.

Did you see all the BAD feedback the seller has wow!!
I bet when you go get the car it's really not where it says it is and you will be hitting on a cardboard cutout othe the playmate
