Oh no, now the tune to that is going to be stuck in my head for the rest of the day!

So if the fast food girl throws hot grease on the bus driver is that assault?
2006-05-04 02:37:49 PM
Several students on the bus said the driver may have gotten distracted after turning around in her seat and reaching for something behind her.

Probably looking for something to throw at the little shiats.

Sierra, who has been employed with the district since Oct. 2000, has been reassigned to a task that doesn't involve driving.

I guess that she can't crash into peoples' lawns when she's serving 7 day-old pizza in the cafeteria.

Hot grease?
2006-05-04 02:40:21 PM
Yes, but couldn't the floor buffer do just as much damage as a bus?
2006-05-04 02:40:23 PM
Uh, I meant to say "crash into peoples' houses". But, this lady might be capable of lawn crashing.
2006-05-04 02:42:23 PM
Hot grease?

2006-05-04 02:43:23 PM

Only if she slips a gear while reaching for her cellphone.

Floor buffers are not nearly as dangerous as boar fluffers.

The woman across the block has nothing on...nothing on...nothing on...

Yay! My first greenlight! :)

All she wanted was a hug from the mayor.

Nelville Flynn - damnit, that is exactly what I thought after I hit "add comment". Nice butchering of the english language, eh?

Mission Accomplished - Oh God, here goes: 'Detour Dave'.

the driver of the parked car was also injured.

I'm a little baffled by this statement.
2006-05-04 03:34:42 PM
And this person still has a job. Wow. I take it bus drivers are part of the teachers' union....

Seriously, this is kinda scary, I go past the central lot for a whole (largish) school district's buses on my bike whenever I want to go.... well, anywhere really, since it's across the street from my apartment. And I remember from school that bus drivers figure the world revolves around them because they have kids' lives placed in their hands.
2006-05-04 03:34:55 PM
I call shenanigans... it's obvious that photo has been faked or modified. Look at the angle of the house and the way the bus has "supposedly" crashed into it. The injured kids were probably making the whole thing up, and the bus was planted after the fact...

/Joking around with all the tinfoil types who claim every unlikely photo or youtube video has been faked...
2006-05-04 03:43:03 PM
munkyxtc: Yes. How does one drive a parked car?
2006-05-04 04:14:45 PM
Best headline in a while! Nice one, Submitty.

Google sat pic (pops). House would be the northwest one on this corner. Bus went through quite a bit of yard it seems. How fast was she going?
2006-05-04 04:56:00 PM

/que the mayor
2006-05-04 05:12:27 PM
TimBilly - that is what my pilot and I were wondering...she took quite a bit of the lawn with her from the yard on the SW corner.
2006-05-04 05:30:44 PM
"Ooooooooh! My bad!"
2006-05-04 07:23:42 PM
She now faces 25 counts of careless driving resulting in injury.

Well fark, why didn't they fire her after the first 24 times?
