Ah, Newport News. The same city made famous by the McDonald's "Chicken Head McNugget," if memory serves.

At best, you need to clean your mouse afterwards, and at worse, to buy a new one.

Yeah, Newport News. The retard stepchild of the greater Hampton Roads area. We try to keep them and Portsmouth to themselves as much as we can. Sorry about that.

Can we please pass some kind of law about limiting law suit awards? Something like a max of $100,000 or cost of damages. That way people can't sue for millions when they suffer "emotional injury" and other BS like that. I added the cost of damages part because in someone came along and destroyed my $50 millon mansion, I'd want a little more of a pay out...

Are you kidding? Hampton sucks. Agreed on Portsmouth aside from downtown...Roger Brown's Sports Bar & Restaurant = Awesome.

Doesn't this dumbass realize that someone already tried this? We saw this scheme on Fark just yesterday. They're not going to fall for it again.

Grew up in NN and still have family there.

ALL of HR's is a mess, there is no part better than the other because they all run together. If you're going to single out places, just say that Yorktown and Williamsburg are pretty in spots and the rest of the entire area is a total shiathole. Moved to the Shenandoah Valley about ten years ago and the ONLY thing I miss about HR's is the water early in the summer (like now). But I get over it pretty quick, especially when I think about all the other stuff that I DON'T have to put up with here.

Have a customer you don't like? Put a dead mouse in their soup. They'll go to prison.

/Still think they're dumbasses.

No way, man. We have the Power Plant, a shiny new clover leaf interstate exchange that no doubt looks suspiciously like an anus from the air and soon we'll supposedly have one of those snazzy "urban centers" that are so trendy now. Soon, we too shall be able to pay $1500/mth to live above a Starbucks. Joy! Then there's the 163 new steak retaurants have opened up in the last calendar. We r0xx0rs, baby! ;)

And now, the one non-sarcastic line in my post shall be: Yes, Roger Brown's kicks ass.

I live in Virginia Beach. And it's not bad here. We all just try to stay out of the ghetto parts of town. They have a cool comedy club there though. Cozzy's. I'll be doing a set like I did about a month ago...

Cozzy's in Newport News, this Thursday

Born in Portsmouth, raised in VA Beach and Northern VA, lived in Oklahoma for 10 years, now living in the Shenandoah Valley. So far the only thing I miss about any of those other places is a cheap broadband Internet connection. And the ability to order Chinese take-out at 3 AM.

/works for the telephone company and still gets reamed on DSL pricing.

I've always thought of VB as Myrtle Beach, Jr. with all the neon lights and all along the beach. VB does have some nice ammenities and attractions, but not enough for me to call it a place that I like. And don't get me started on tunnel traffic after a concert in VB.

Hey, any Newport News'ers, question;

Are there a lot of business scammers in Newport News?

2006-05-01 11:08:16 AM
"Hi, Mom. I'm an owl."
"You don't look like a very happy owl."
"Nope. I'm not."
"Maybe some lunch would help."
"I doubt it. I don't like mice."
"This is soup."
"Is it mouse soup? I don't like mice."
"I heard you. It's tomato."

Thank you, Mr. Watterson.

This would be so easy to pull off if you had half a brain; simply get somebody on the inside to actually cook a mouse in your soup, you farking nincon farking poop.

Necropsy will show that, man, this mouse is the real deal!

I love that they went so far as to do a kind of mouse autopsy. Adds that whole conspiracy mystique to the story.

Yeah, really. I guess we just don't get many threads where there's a reason to bring up where we live. Just ones like these and any thread mocking Pat Robertson. Allen Iverson brings some of us out too but he hasn't made news in a long time.

We need a Fark party.

Women are running out of guys to milk for their money so the next best thing is fraud. Well, theres lots of paternity fraud and emotional fraud but that's for loser women with no ambition.
