If they just want to taste some alcohol, why not try rubbing alcohol? It's cheaper than cologne and it works, uh, really well (If you're trying to kill yourself, that is).

No, cologne has rubbing alcohol (methanol) in it. That will not get you drunk, but will make you sick or die. You *want* to drink ethanol, that's the fun stuff.

The big secret alcoholic beverage that any kid can buy in any supermarket today is Angostura Bitters....it's stronger than vodka (45% alcohol) and won't kill you like cologne will. However, good luck putting down more than a teaspoon of that nasty stuff!

XSLUMLORDX, rubbing alcohol is isopropanol. It'll kill you, but it'll make you blind long before that. Methanol is similar, but it'll kill you quicker. (Lethal dose is 8 ounces for Isopropanol, 4 ounces for Methanol.)

But if you're going to drink either, Methanol does smell nicer.
