Damn! They never heard of "raisin jack"? Just take raisin bread, sugar and water (can't remember all the ingredients)let sit in dark warm place for a bit and voila! Tastes like crap, but a buzz is possible. Some of us used to make it on ship, left a bucket of that crap in the bilges awhile to ferment. Stash found once and no-more raisin bread for breakfast! And SNAX might need a nap or a XANAX.

I don't drink alcohol at all. I've seen people under the effect of alcohol. Most of the time, it's not that bad. They'll stumble around a bit, spit when they talk, normal drunk stuff. Other times, they'll throw things at you, or try to hit you, or throw your mother through a wall. I just choose not to even try it, because I come from a family of angry drunks, and I don't like the idea of not remembering what happened the night before I wake up. I'm not about to start telling other people not to drink it, though. It's their choice, and it has nothing to do with me.

Marijuana, on the other hand... I don't see anything wrong with it. I've never seen anybody get violent under the influence of marijuana. There has NEVER been an experience where I've forgotten what happened the night before, under the influence of marijuana. And, there has not been one single overdose or death directly caused by marijuana. Stupid people under the influence of marijuana, maybe, but never as a direct result of marijuana.

When you're with friends, it just enhances the experience greatly. Everything is just better.

Of course, "friends" are probably a foreign thing to you, so you can continue thinking what you want to think. Everybody is entitled to an opinion, even if it's farking STUPID and wrong.

Why, I wonder, are they arresting the guys who sell the cologne? From the article, it sounds like they're in trouble for lacing the cologne with methanol. So they're going to get lashed for putting something you can't drink in something you're not supposed to drink? Sounds like justice to me. Wouldn't the Islamists prefer the alcohol be made undrinkable?

Farkin-A- A better homemade alcohol is fermented fruit juice. Juice a whole bunch of citrus, add some sugar, and throw it in the fridge for a couple weeks. Tastes decent, and has a lot more alcohol than you think.

I lived and worked in the middle east for a few years, and this doesn't surprise me a bit.

True fact: because many muslim nations do not allow believers to purchase alcoholic beverages, there are actually cheap brands of perfume that are made/marketed for people to drink. They have a high alcohol content and are much cheaper than the "premium" brands you would actually want to splash on yourself because of the pleaseant odor.
