Vote Bob Casey in November. Please.

The thing that is most interesting about this is that, as mentioned in the article, it really is his position, just with more swearing!

Marcus Aurelius: Vote Bob Casey in November. Please.

Yes, please. We don't need to be represented by a junior Frist.

I wonder if anyone else feels this way but it's getting harder to watch this show. It's like Seinfeld. I knew that these people were bad people but they just got SO sophomoric and juvenile and stupid that I lost patience with them. By the end of Seinfeld I was waiting for a machine gun death for each one of them.

I agree with that, mutilato, but I actually have been interpreting that as David Chase illustrating how much more thoughtful and intelligent Tony has become than the rest of the crew, (although the Santorum comment made it clear it's a painfully slow process of enlightenment.)

I gave up on it last season.(which aired what, five years ago? or does it just seem like it...)

I third the Casey thing. Voting for Santorum hurts America.

Santorum or Casey. Christ. And people wonder why I'm an independent.

I've found that the show is trying my patience. I'm telling myself because I'm so used to gratuitous violence every week or so, and for the past five episodes the only death was the captain that commited suicide. They're trying to go new directions with some of the characters, and it feels awkward. Hopefully now that Tony's out of his coma (my god, that whole coma thing couldn't end fast enough) and getting his bearings again things'll get more interesting.

I don't even live in PA anymore, but please oh please, vote Casey in November.

LawTalkingGuy: but I actually have been interpreting that as David Chase illustrating how much more thoughtful and intelligent Tony has become than the rest of the crew

I see that. it's the only really interesting thing about the show right now, the fact that Tony's level of "enlightenment" is somehow more advanced than his "generals". I originally thought the whole "Mob head gets counseling" idea was overused and overplayed. In the second season I saw flashes that they might move into territory that showed that Tony's life might actually be endangered by his efforts to reach a new level of consciousness. In my head, the arc was that he would begin to learn to feel, begion to become horrified by his actions and have two options. Either give in to his new understandings and be torn to shreds by his "herd" or eliminate his "weakness" by killing his psychiatrist. This was an arc I was interested in. It's so drawn ou and painful, though.

I've yet to see a coherent argument for why we should be excited about the boys putting their peeners in each other's poop chutes.

I thought the first three episodes of this season were amazing. All of the symbolism and whatnot. But the past two weeks I have become frustrated.

I don't need gratuitous violence or nudity every week on this show, but it just seems like they have so many things going on, it's turning into a soap opera. Even so, the worst episode of the Sopranos is better than the best episodes of most other shows.

The last few episodes will be amazing as well, I have no doubt.

What amazes me is the assumption that, with no more moral compass on sexual matters, your average guy would actually prefer to fark a dog over, say, a hot woman.

What does is say about his most secret desires if the only thing standing between him and a rottweiler's oiled anus is his respect for traditional family values?

Im not voting for either one this November, I really dont care.

/PA sucks

Casey could be Satan in drag and I'd vote for him over Santorum. I don't like him, but I don't yet have the active HATRED for him either.

And I, for one, hope that Adman's oily rottweiler is a cranky liberal with sharp teef.
/Toofs?
//No, teef.

it has been slow on Sopranos

but that is becuase there is going to be an all out war with New York, where everyone gets capped.

You'll like it when it gets here

You've got to remember, this show was supposed to end seasons ago but was dragged out. It's going to feel tired at some points. Personally I hope their is a zombie invasion and they are the only group organized to save New Jersey.

/oh and Santorum would prefer sex with animals

Not odd so much as ripped from an Adam Sandler movie.

Yeah, I'm properly ashamed of myself.

But that changes neither of these facts:
Rick Santorum is a piece of shiat.
I am German.

I have occasionally voted in off-year elections in the past

So I am really getting a kick out of most of these replies.

Some of you guys are very good at making it sound like you know what you are talking about.

But trust me.... You don't.

I think you just want to make yourself sound smart, when in reality you dont know what you are talking about.

This is how bad info gets passed around.

If you dont know about the topic....Dont make yourself sound like you do.

Cuz some Farkers belive anything they hear.

Could not disagree more. Loved the first ep, but all the "Tony going toward the light" shiat was unwatchable. Yeah, we get it, we've seen it before, blah blah blah. Glad to see we're getting back to moving the plot line ahead.
