Hopefully they will allow a search to include more than just one word

Hmm the article mentioned something about "Windows Live" by Microsoft.. looks like they have google in their sights.

The assimilation is almost complete...

As long as Google doesn't break itself. I hate it when there's a website or program that works fine, then is "updated", when in fact it was just slammed on the ground and stomped then given back to me.

/bitter about the latest Winamp update

Windows Live is still way too clunky. The maps are nice though.

From the looks of it the Google page won't change too much. Hope they make their image search better (Alta Vista still has a better image search in my opinion)

I thought there was a disturbance in the Google Force.
A competing business here in town is quitting, and I tried to snap up their domain name to have their traffic re-directed to us. Incidentally, we are going to pick up some of their assets. Tried to go to their website to look up their address and it turned out their domain name has already expired in March. Fine, no problem, look at the Google cache. Gone! Huh? OK, I'll try "find sites that link to that domain". Nothing, all gone, and they used to kick our ass in all directories. All gone. Last resort was, where I found copies of their website this morning, and now, guess what, it's gone, too.

Very strange.
