Have you ever thought that maybe their culture is just different from yours? Have you even considered that maybe they aren't raised to think of their mothers as loving people to run to when things are wrong, or maybe you haven't.

You know... just because these products that are farked up exist, doesn't mean they're mainstreme. Most people in Japan are hardworking, normal people, who are far less farked up than most Americans. A buddy of mine is an exchange student from Japan and he didn't even know about panty vending machines until he came to America.

Common Japanese (mis?)conceptions that may or may not have any relevance:
-"work, work, and keep working. 12 hour average workday"
-"so ****ing expensive to rent or buy that most 20-somethings still live with mom&dad"

The biggest indicator that the Japanese aren't having sex is their birth rate. Their population is shrinking precipitously. Japan is what happens when you flood a previously isolationist and emotionally conservative country with western culture.
