Obviously Bush had a hand in that Chile. Texas style Chile has no beans in it.

2006-03-11 10:49:37 AM
That is correct the One True Chili has no beans. Nor does it have rice.

I'm wondering if there are ANY countries left that HAVEN'T been told how to run their government by this administration.

Anybody?

Bueller?

"It is important for countries to be well-governed and to govern democratically. The United States has no trouble, no difficulty dealing with countries from either side of the political spectrum," said Rice, who will also be meeting presidents of Uruguay and Guatemala during her trip.

"I very much look forward to that," said Rice of the meeting with Morales on the sidelines of the inauguration on Saturday of Chile's new president, Michelle Bachelet.

However, Rice stressed she had no plans to meet Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez, whose anti-American stance has enraged the Bush administration.

Good one, Condi.

And we're really sorry we installed a brutal, undemocratic dictator about 30 years ago. But that was the past. We're cool now, right?

Sucks to have squandered all diplomatic integrity I suppose. Ineffective on the battlefield and ineffectual diplomatically, the world is working around the new pariah state.

Just send along Hank "The Shank of Santiago" Kissinger and everything will be just fine. I'm sure they only want him to keep Pinochet company in the dock...

I hear President Bush told her not to forget her winter coat on this trip.

/chile
//chilly
///I bet it's true.

I hated when people would do the "chilli, Chile" thing.

"Oh Alex, you're Chilean? I be you LOVE chilli! Eh?! Eh?!"

Damn gringos.

2006-03-11 03:10:14 PM
Chileans, for the most part, love north americans and gringo culture. But, 99% despise the Bush administration and want to kill Bush. Regardless of Condi's intentions, she ain't changing that any time soon.

In Chile, they call chili "aji," and people use to ask me all the time if, in the Estados Unidos, they REALLY called peppers "chilis." They thought it was hilarious.

Oh man, you are so on the money! Condoliza Rice is a total oreo, because she didn't get knocked up at 15 and doesn't wobble her head when she talks. All she does is work for some cracka instead of sticking it to him.

Sum Dum Phuk: I'm wondering if there are ANY countries left that HAVEN'T been told how to run their government by this administration.

The United States.

/"Hey, Brownie, maybe you should send down some supplies or something?"
//"If this government sells any major defense operations to businesses operating in terrorist-supporting nations, drop me a line or something."
///"Hey, Dick buddy, you should tell your staff that CIA secret agents are, uh, classified, or something."
////"We're sure he has WMD, right? Someone, get on that."
/////"Can someone make sure I read any memoes about terrorist leaders being determined to strike in the U.S.?"
