Ah, Ren and Stimpy. I loved that show, except for the fact it was on sunday morinings, and conviently enough right during my parents "nap". And to make life even better, their bedroom was DIRECTLY above the only room with a television in the house. I dont think I saw many full episodes due to the sounds of bed springs squeaking above me. *shudders* Just something about parental sex. I just didnt need confirmation about it.
And as for FOX, yeah their morons. Theyre cancelling 2 shows in the top 100 (Ally McBeal, Titus) and Futurama that is like number 104. For a station that doesnt have one show come in in the top 30, theyre making some interesting decisions. But, its FOX. I mean, come on, what more needs to be said?

Quite possibly yes. As for Rugrats... it's still on Nickelodeon and still as crappy as day 1. The other Nicktoon was "Doug" and that got swallowed into ABC's 1 Saturday Morning.

Ren and Stimpy actually showed things most other channels cringed at the thought of showing on "children's" television. Rocko came in a close yet distant second...

When I read the rumor Ren and Stimpy were coming back, which I'd seen following a link from.. here.. of all places, my heart filled with blood.

Fox briefly showed John K.'s 'The Ripping Friends', but it just wasn't the same.

John K is a genius. Ren and Stimpy and (Jhonen Vasquez's)Invader Zim are some of the best animation to come along since Looney Tunes.
