With krelborne's correction, nice headline.
2006-02-27 01:35:41 PM
That headline had me hang my head and cry.
2006-02-27 01:36:05 PM
A boy named "Sue" wanted for questioning.
2006-02-27 01:36:28 PM
I bet Lt. Jim Dangle has Junior and Trudy Weigle hard at work on this case.
2006-02-27 01:36:49 PM

hahaha submitter, didn't you know never to make a mistake on fark?!? thou shalt never find safe harbor on the roiling sea of ridicule!

/krelborne and thenyquilkid beat me to the correction
//its still a johnny cash headline though, good jorb
2006-02-27 01:38:37 PM
I once shot a man just to watch him die. Then I got distracted and missed it. My friends tried to describe it to me, but it wasn't the same. Ah, never mind me, you've got your own problems.
2006-02-27 01:39:03 PM
That must have "hurt".
2006-02-27 01:39:09 PM
And from the look of Sergent d's pic, I'd say Lt. Dangle is hanging a couple ideas out there himself.
2006-02-27 01:39:44 PM
We all miss Johnny Cash.

hahaha submitter, didn't you know never to make a mistake on fark?!? thou shalt never find safe harbor on the roiling sea of ridicule!

...or he could wait five minutes for the peanut gallery to lose interest and move on to the next flamewar.

/fark editors have low self-esteem.
2006-02-27 01:41:45 PM
They also surmise that when suspect hears that whistle blowing, he'll hang his head and cry.
2006-02-27 01:42:23 PM
someone say Reno?

Sue and his associates were last seen playing hockey at Sue's apartment. They are now believed to be at The Brown Derby. Or The Dresden.
2006-02-27 01:43:55 PM
That lyrical mistake will throw the submitter into a Ring of Fire.
2006-02-27 01:45:06 PM
The suspect was going to cut the bodies up and dispose of them one piece at a time...
2006-02-27 01:45:14 PM
Was the suspect named Sue?

/Mr. Cash, you are missed.
2006-02-27 01:50:40 PM
i always told him, "Don't take your guns to down".
2006-02-27 01:54:04 PM
Dick Cheney's in Reno?

/Sorry, couldn't resist.
2006-02-27 01:55:57 PM
UNR undergrads by the looks of it

/Lives further from campus
//In the opposite direction
///Still a bit scary
2006-02-27 01:58:45 PM
Maybe 240 or so years from now, submitter.

But not right now.
2006-02-27 02:00:34 PM
Update: suspect has been overtaken down in Juarez, Mexico
2006-02-27 02:03:49 PM
N. S. Radieaux, that's a pretty fun screenshot. It would be fun to make if it wasn't for the tedium factor, that's a lot of shooting.
2006-02-27 02:07:45 PM
hehe, good headline
2006-02-27 02:09:57 PM
That must have taken some time N.S.Radieaux. Since they weren't little piles of goo energy weapons must not have been used.

Man I got to play me some Fallout 2 tonight.
2006-02-27 02:11:45 PM
haha. a roundabout tom lennon reference.

i want to dip my balls in it.
2006-02-27 02:16:39 PM
Why is Chuck Norris in Reno?
2006-02-27 02:21:24 PM
Chuck Norris doesn't need a weapon, he is a weapon.
2006-02-27 02:24:47 PM
Now he's playing in that great big penitentiary in the sky...

Folsom Prison Blues - Johnny Cash

I hear the train a comin'
it's rolling round the bend
and I ain't seen the sunshine since I don't know when,
I'm stuck in Folsom prison, and time keeps draggin' on
but that train keeps a rollin' on down to San Anton..
When I was just a baby my mama told me. Son,
always be a good boy, don't ever play with guns.
But I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die
now every time I hear that whistle I hang my head and cry..

I bet there's rich folks eating in a fancy dining car
they're probably drinkin' coffee and smoking big cigars.
Well I know I had it coming, I know I can't be free
but those people keep a movin'
and that's what tortures me...

Well if they'd free me from this prison,
if that railroad train was mine
I bet I'd move just a little further down the line
far from Folsom prison, that's where I want to stay
and I'd let that lonesome whistle blow my blues away.....
2006-02-27 02:24:51 PM
yoyopro: No, it fell just short of excellent.Mattytee
No, it fell just short of excellent.

Indeed, you are correct.

/still clever
//slash mcgash
2006-02-27 02:25:19 PM
That better be a Johnny "Man in Black" Cash quote and not because it was heard/seen in the movie starring Joaquim "The Hack" Pheonix.

/hasn't seen the movie
//will never see the movie
///Burn, Hollywood, Burn
2006-02-27 02:32:37 PM
I'll give submitter a pass on confusing see/watch. The headline still made me laugh, and now I have very acceptable earworm.

2006-02-27 02:35:14 PM
miss you JR.

Every man is not a man compared to johnny cash. Great headline
2006-02-27 02:35:28 PM

You realize that Joaquin Pheonix was hand picked by Cash himself about three years ago. Also, that Cash tutored the guy himself. Cash wanted the movie made, and put his stamp on it before he died.
2006-02-27 02:37:17 PM
He should appear before the jury in a long, black veil.
2006-02-27 02:39:02 PM
I'll try to carry off a little darkness on my back. Til things are brighter,I'm the man in black.
Cash, 3:16
2006-02-27 02:39:20 PM
Chuck Norris has his entire body registered as a concealed weapon.
2006-02-27 02:40:48 PM
Janet Reno??
2006-02-27 02:48:32 PM
I put that on a job application once, under the section about criminal record.

Still got the job, don't think they noticed it.
2006-02-27 02:53:45 PM
Chuck Norris has his entire body registered as a concealed weapon.

That would only be true if he wore a burka.
2006-02-27 03:08:08 PM

I'm not big into the "I know more than you do" about certain things. So....since you have no problem with trying to be an a-hole and discount a persons opinion, I leave you with this; so what. That doesn't mean I'm any less of a fan just because you read everything there is to know about someone and person like me doesn't. I still like the music. I still watched the Columbo episode in which Johnny Cash killed someone.

Oh... you forgot to ask if I cared.

/doesn't care
2006-02-27 03:17:29 PM
deadgoon, i think qazdec4 just wanted to make sure you had the facts before you started ripping on joaquin phoenix for no discernible reason.

it wasn't about who knows more than who, it was about you being a moran.
