2006-02-03 04:26:51 PM
Yeah all the dead from Waco are dance'n with you Janet.

2006-02-03 04:27:34 PM
Respect is an Otis song.

/Yes, I realize that Aretha had the hit.

2006-02-03 04:28:23 PM
But Otis had it first, darn straight el_hueso.
Fits better with a man singing it, anyway. Women want love, men want respect. Check it.

Mad props to Ms. Reno for that SNL appearance.

Besides John McCain, how many other prominent public figures have made similar appearances? Again, mad props.

Great... looks like it's also time to remind some people that Ruby Ridge was August of 1992.

Was she drunk again? And did the cop drive her and her truck home afterwards?

Mayhaps she'll team up with Ashcroft

How the hell can you have Janet Reno at a fund raiser? She's the only AG to make Ashcroft look good by comparison. It would be like the Republicans having Michael Brown at a fundraiser.

2006-02-03 05:04:51 PM
Nordburg,

Al Gore and Al Sharpton have both been on SNL I believe.

Nordburg: Besides John McCain, how many other prominent public figures have made similar appearances?

Don't forget about George Bush the Elder on SNL spouting off the lines that Dana Carvey used in his impersonations.

Jesus. In that picture, looking like a man would def. be a compliment. I'm looking past that, and going straight to suggesting an E.T. comparison.

I attended a Janet Reno Dance Party in D.C. a couple of years ago. There's nothing like see Janet Reno "cut a rug" live and in the flesh. Good times! Priceless.

2006-02-03 06:41:36 PM
I saw the video of the singing and could only take it for five seconds before I shut it off. And I like her.

/worked for her gubernatorial campaign

True, because she didn't. But well played, Firebug!

2006-02-03 08:27:30 PM
Why didn't she sing: "I just love to lob in incendiaries and burn women and children to death!"

Filthy slut, I hope she dies.

thumbtack - I'm glad they sent that little bastard back home with his father...

/Reno rocks

At least Janet Reno is willing to accept responsibility and acknowledge that a mistake was made. Not all folks are willing to admit regret and publicly acknowledge their mistakes and responsibility for errors.
