I'm in Ontario. It's pretty much pick your poison.

The Liberals are too busy running damage control to run much of a campaign. As well, their attack ads are pretty pathetic, being that neither the Tories nor the NDP have been in power recently, so there's no facts to base the ads on.

Conversely, the Tories have been digging heavily into the Liberals for their recent scandals, and the NDP have practically based their entire platform (from my point of view) on being "not those lousy Liberals". (who, by the way, they were sucking up to not more than 4 months ago. Politicos.)

I'm not sure who I'm going to vote for, and I'm frigging voting in, like, an hour. I don't like the Liberal's stance on the gun registry (effing waste of cash), and I really hate how slimy Martin has gotten lately. He's pandering like crazy trying to make everyone like him again. On the other hand, they've eliminated the deficit, which is nice. (Only to put the money in their pockets, but that's another matter.)

The NDP is a non-option, as they're basically the Communist party and I don't like pretty much all their views on things, particularly health care.

I'm probably going to vote Tory, though I dislike their government handout to families of $1200 a year to "use as they see fit." If they put *some* restrictions on it, I'd go for it. Other than that, if we can afford it (I doubt it, but hey), I'd really like to see the Canadian Armed Forces become a reincarnation of their former WWII selves, rather than the poorly run joke that most people perceive them to be now. And I like Harper. (Sue me)

The word "aboriginals" just means the first people to live there. In Canada, different terms for different groups are used, such as "First Nations" for what we would call Native Americans/American Indians.
