Nails are ineffective. Should have used this instead. Especially being Japanese and all.

"About 730 nails were found on the course from mid-December to January. Police believe Kato was responsible for all of the attacks."

I work at vehicle driving testing, and I'm really laughing at theses posts.

You don't know the history of scatter nails over the training course- I do.

It must be easy to say, oh yes this is what happened after the fact, but trust me, it is not easy when you put your life on the line day after day like I do.

If one nail gets off the track and into your coffee cup, you are dead man. Do you have any idea how that works? You would swallow the nail, and die.

I work for a vehicle driving authority.

So I am really getting a kick out of most of these replies.

Some of you guys are very good at making it sound like you know what you are talking about.

But trust me.... You don't.

I think you just want to make yourself sound smart, when in reality you dont know what you are talking about.

This is how bad info gets passed around.

If you dont know about the topic....Dont make yourself sound like you do.

Cuz some Farkers belive anything they hear.

Well, the second Kato might be more likely to be found in China. Then again, he is dead. Of course, death might be a good reason to fail a large vehicle driving test.

Speaking of which, I need some legal advice.

Firstly... Yes, I'm a sucker.

Facts: I loaned dude $2,000. I got his John Hancock on paper(still have it, and a witness). He paid $195, and nothing ever afer that. I don't have his home address. I'm in the process of small claims, but haven't been able to serve him as I have no address to find him at, just his myspace account and real name.

Questions: Can I press charges? Would it be successful?

2006-01-21 05:38:09 AM
nope, you gave him the money willingly... he didn't steal it. That being true, you did cover yourself to a degree by making him sign a "contract"...... Basically, if the guy was who he says he was and you can find him then you can sue him in civil court to try to have a judgement rendered against him.... Winning in court doesn't always mean getting the money though.

2006-01-21 05:42:10 AM
Well, the thing is, the contract did state that he had X amount of days to pay me. He didn't live up to it. I've repeatedly asked him for an address or a personal meeting, he just dodges the issue. Then I layed on the small claims case, he refuses to even show up. Does that constitute a conscious decision to refuse to pay, in a criminally punishable way?

He made his point!

love how the mods shake it up with a really bad headline, bad as in worst, that is, in other words, the word choice to construct the headline couldn't be worse.

I'd nail it!
