Last September, a former tool shed built to fill a gap in the middle of a row of Victorian houses in what was once Dublin's poorest district got snapped up for 220,000 euros.

And if you paid that, you're the tool.

About two years ago a coworker tried to sell me his 450 sq ft studio for $260K.
And that was considered a steal!

/probably would go for over $400K now.
//still renting - like a dumbass.

Exactly, a 300 sqft place in manhatten goes for $300,000, what's the difference. If someone is willing to buy it at that price.

Considerably cheaper than LA...I looked at a 1br / 1bath, no yard, on a steep slope which will probably give way...

$890,000. Yeah, no thanks.

I also looked at a 2br / 2ba, no yard, no property, no garage, seemed nice on paper--$650k. Way out in the suburbs. I get there....it's a trailer.

Yeah, that's still way cheaper than LA.

When I was there last year, I noticed some ads at a realator. Prices for houses all over the country looked bad. Worse than Seattle prices event. Of course most everything was high priced.
