Nothing can cure the sense of loss from last night's Pats loss... but the Peyton Manning face sure helps. How's it feel to get flags called on you, Colts players? Keep up the good work, Steelers.

Quote me on that.

Any other Seahawks fans wake up with a sore throat this morning, from all that screaming and yelling yesterday?

They lose the MVP and still win the game. If a NY team had done that they would make a movie out of it and declare a national holiday.

2006-01-15 03:01:55 PM
Almost got that safety

Maybe when a west coast team actually wins something, there won't be any more "east coast bias."

2006-01-15 03:02:20 PM
If the Seahawks played in the AFC, I wonder if they'd be drafting Vince Young, Reggie Bush or Matt Lienart...

2006-01-15 03:03:08 PM
NOOO.. SOOO CLOSE

2006-01-15 03:03:09 PM
Safety, come on

2006-01-15 03:03:14 PM
Wow that was close. I think you can review that.

BlueMcPoo

I dont worry about bias, its only natural anyway. The northeast is where most of the media and original NFL teams are.

But I am amazed by the way the hawks battled without the MVP. They are not a one man team.

That was a safety!

immrlizard: DJShamrock: if the colts don't beat ya, you won't win the big one. Cowher never will. he has schottenhiemer syndrome.
I for one pick the seahawks to win it all.
and to all those " it was an accident" comments about Palmers knee... BULLshiat. it was no accident. that was textbook takeout.

Crawl back under that sludge covered rock back in cinci and see you in another 15 years. Tell me why nobody except extremely whacked cinci fans say it wasn't an accident. Most Cinci fans realize that the Stillers wanted to smash the bengals With palmer playing. I guess we will have to wait until next year. I am really sorry that he got hurt, but he will be back next year.

Here we go Stillers!

Dude I didn't say that! I am a die hard steelers fan! wtf dude!

Looks like the refs got the memo.

2006-01-15 03:03:38 PM
Reggie Bush even though they wouldnt have that low of a pick

2006-01-15 03:03:42 PM
Looks like Peyton is a little shaken up. When you've got a guy like Casey Hamption able to keep up with you and track you down in the backfield, you're not having a good day.

Hell, Manning just got sacked, almost for a safety!

He's throwing a bit wildly now, proof that the pressure is getting to him.

GO STEELERS!

2006-01-15 03:03:44 PM
Wow... talk about meltdown.

I like that everybody is ragging on the hawks for having an "easy" schedule.
I want them to be the underdogs.

Look at all the hype Indy gets and they are choking on cock.

2006-01-15 03:05:30 PM
Great field postition for the Steelers, should be able to at least get 3 out of this.

2006-01-15 03:05:39 PM
The colts will make a run in the 4th. Thats when the game really begins. I think.

2006-01-15 03:05:51 PM
I know that hindsight is 20/20, but really, what were the oddsmakers thinking when they gave 9.5 points to the Steelers?

I don't think Vegas is doing so well this weekend.

introducing...
the san francisco 49ers
the oakland/la raiders
the denver broncos (sort of)

combined, they have 9 super bowls...

Panthers > Da bears.

Go Cats.

2006-01-15 03:06:30 PM
If the Hawks were back in the AFC west they probably would have won around 10 games and battled with Denver for the #1 spot.

Chief and Chargers are decent teams, but this years hawks are better than both of them.

Indy had an "easy" schedule too this year, just 10ths of a percentage point tougher than the Hawks.

Just win baby.

2006-01-15 03:06:33 PM
Steelers 17, Seahawks 31

It is so much fun to watch Jerome Bettis run.

While it certainly is possible with Manning most days they'll need to change his diaper today before he tries it.

/one for the thumb!

Helpful hint to the Colts: you should try and stop Bettis from running as far as he does.

well, when you win as many games as the rest of your division combined, it's an easy schedule. when you add the texans, eagles, packers, and titans to that. and when they don't play well against good teams at home (new york, dallas), there will be criticism. it doesn't mean they aren't a good team that won't do well in the playoffs, but they haven't proven jack yet. they did everything they could to give that game to the skins, the skins just have zero offense.

2006-01-15 03:10:23 PM
So much for the Colts improved Defense.

Looks like being a hot road team is better than having the bye and getting all rusty.

2006-01-15 03:10:28 PM
BlueMcPoo: It is so much fun to watch Jerome Bettis run.

Yeah.

Give him this TD. I want to see him get 100 before he retires (not very likely at this point, I realize, but STILL).

Tom Brady - Zero TDs until midway through the 4th.
Peyton Manning - Zero TDs through 3 quarters (at home no less).

How can *experts* be so wrong?

Be careful for what you wish for, Cipster
