kids that were hit by Katrina

You don't believe me?

No...

No?

Did I stutter?

Do you believe this? Huh? It's about the size of a cigar...Do I stutter? You see, this is what you get in my house when you spill paint in the garage.

*snip*

You know what I got for Christmas this year? It was a banner farkin' year at the old Bender family! I got a carton of cigarettes. The old man grabbed me and said "Hey! Smoke up Johnny!" Okay, so go home'n cry to your daddy, don't cry here, okay?

Too bad Santa isn't real, and so the Kids of Katrina will be getting nothing.

/damn consumerism fairy tales wrecking the world for everyone

2005-12-22 01:33:05 PM
I CALL BULLSHIAT. Stop exploiting the victims of Hurricane Katrina to get your names in the paper. Until I see proof the kids get zero gifts and that they are all donated, I say this is a publicity stunt on a slow news day.

I hope that whole family loses their house to show them what it is like to be a victim.

2005-12-22 02:01:08 PM
Bless their little hearts

2005-12-22 02:01:29 PM
huh, In my neck of the woods This is what the kids told santa:

They said:
Father christmas, give us some money
Dont mess around with those silly toys.
Well beat you up if you dont hand it over
We want your bread so dont make us annoyed
Give all the toys to the little rich boys

2005-12-22 02:04:39 PM
Hey, what Katrina do to her kids up in her apartment is her own bidness, ya got that?

2005-12-22 02:05:22 PM
Fark'um - let the Katrina-gees steal their own presents.

/from the most dangerous refugee camp in the world - Houston

2005-12-22 02:05:52 PM

"LOL, GoOd IDeA!"

2005-12-22 02:08:10 PM
Go smoke some more of the pot, ya damn mini-hippies!

2005-12-22 02:08:26 PM
I agree with Gig103 & MrBettle. I hate kids that do this kind of crap and are totally insincere.

2005-12-22 02:08:36 PM
Its obvious what they're doing. by giving away their presents this year to the unfortunate kids of Katrina, these kids are ensuring that every subsequent Christmas will be nothing less than a shower of presents.

its ingenius.

2005-12-22 02:09:36 PM
Gig103 - what an ass you are!!!

If you rtfa you would know already that these kids have already lost *everything* before and had to live in their car and in a shelter.

Way to be an asshat.

2005-12-22 02:11:08 PM
Is one of the presents a 12-pack of Heineken?

I looted extra good this year, Santa!

2005-12-22 02:11:08 PM
These kids are being used as puppets by their idiot parents.

2005-12-22 02:14:33 PM
It's still real to me DAMMIT!

2005-12-22 02:15:50 PM
Mr. and Mrs. Tapp are off the hook for this Christmas.

2005-12-22 02:16:10 PM
The real tragedy here is that 9 and 10 year olds watch Dr Phil

2005-12-22 02:16:38 PM
Wow. No love from farkers today.

I think it's great what these kids are doing. It doesn't matter if the parents actually give the gifts to Katrina victims. What's nice is the kids thoughts on the matter.

Don't be so jaded, people.

2005-12-22 02:17:37 PM
Where were you when they asked Santa about Katrina? Did it make you feel like crying, or did you think it was kinda gay? Well I, for one, believe in Katrina.

Oh Yeah, Yeah, nine eleven.

2005-12-22 02:18:21 PM

It's just so beautiful...waaaaa!

2005-12-22 02:19:28 PM
Just like Eddie Haskell of "Leave it Beaver fame."

These kids aren't pulling one over on me. Little punks.

I posted this earlier in the thread about Dimebag Darrell's shooting anniversary:

This thread reflects the reality of society:

50 percent are pretty cool.

50 percent need a cockpunch.

After reading this thread, make it 25/75.

Why is everyone so bitter about this?

2005-12-22 02:23:38 PM
And what is your take there Mr. dstanley? After seeing you work at a school...I can guess your take.

2005-12-22 02:25:37 PM
I think they should be getting ready for the next hurricane season instead of being little attention whores.

The katrina victims have been through a lot of shiat, but they have been doing well for a while now.

They get free rent, lone-star cards full of spending money and unlike other people with lone-star cards here, they are not just restricted to buying food. My step-father works at kroger and he told me they go and buy their groceries along with cartons of cigerettes and beer.

The reason these kid's parents told them to put up this sign is because, they are probably expecting a shiaty Chistmas anyway.

2005-12-22 02:26:03 PM
1. I question if the kids came up with the idea.
2. I question if the kids really will not receive any gifts as they are hoping to send them all away.
3. I question how/why this story was brought to the press.

The idea is nice, but i for one simply question the intention, and if it really is going to be carried out.

2005-12-22 02:26:35 PM
Who do there asshat kids think they are? THey think they have some right to tell Santa what to do. Santa has it tough enough making his list and checking it twice to assure that everyone gets the proper number of gifts based on their Naughty/Nice Index. These kids in Florida are changing the gift algorithm Santa uses in his Christmas model. Now he'll have to recalculate how many gifts everyone is due.

I bet Christmas will be late this year because of these selfish bastards!

2005-12-22 02:26:50 PM
Gig103:

How about you donate all your gifts (case of Milwaukee's Best and a carton of smokes?) to them and show them how it's done. There's a lot of people donating items over the holidays and not many of them make the news. I doubt these kids had a press conference planned when they decided to do this.

Hats off to everyone who donates over the holidays, including those that do make the news.

Merry farking Christmas, Gig103, Bitterman, and Gold Diggerrr. Hope your stockings are filled with coal this year.

Finlay:

Exactly!

2005-12-22 02:29:52 PM
So, stop the farking presses. I'm donating stuff this year. Hey, call CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN and FOX. Get Katie Couric down here right now and let me show her how generous I am. Better yet, get Sean Penn and his boat over here and we'll deliver them. But only if we get press out of it.

2005-12-22 02:29:53 PM
Headline should have been: "Kids to Santa: Suck it!!"

2005-12-22 02:31:33 PM
Bitterman: So, stop the farking presses. I'm donating stuff this year. Hey, call CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN and FOX. Get Katie Couric down here right now and let me show her how generous I am. Better yet, get Sean Penn and his boat over here and we'll deliver them. But only if we get press out of it.

Why don't you go soak your head for awhile. And take some prozac while you're at it.

2005-12-22 02:33:07 PM
Wow. I come in here, golf clap at the ready, and I'm met with THIS?! Good Lord, can nobody just take a selfless act on its face anymore?!

2005-12-22 02:33:30 PM
untrustworthy:

your nickname suggests you should be wondering if their intentions are real as well.

it is not wrong to question peoples intentions, we still have that freedom

2005-12-22 02:33:37 PM
When I was a kid and my parents asked me what I wanted I'd say "World peace." or something like that. I thought that because Iwas so unselfish, they'd give me more presents.

/first time ever admitting it
//it feels good
///I now know why people go to counselling
////crazies.

2005-12-22 02:36:03 PM
Gosling: Wow. I come in here, golf clap at the ready, and I'm met with THIS?! Good Lord, can nobody just take a selfless act on its face anymore?!

Nah, it's a lot more fun to biatch and question the motivation of other people's generosity. Double-plus fun when the criticism is directed towards kids! Yay for Holiday Spirit!

2005-12-22 02:36:07 PM
The Children SHOULD be commended for their actions, but this has "News Fluff" written all over it. Which makes it sappy

2005-12-22 02:36:40 PM
It's kinda like John-John saluting his father's casket. His mom told him to, so he did it.

/just sayin'

2005-12-22 02:37:20 PM
Finlay: your nickname suggests you should be wondering if their intentions are real as well.

My "nickname" is a joke.

it is not wrong to question peoples intentions, we still have that freedom

I never said people shouldn't have the freedom to criticize others. I'm simply exercising my freedom to criticize people for being asshats in response to a kind gesture made by children.

2005-12-22 02:40:11 PM
untrustworthy:

charity is at its best when it is done anonymously.

i guess a lot of us are just disgusted to see people think the opposite.

2005-12-22 02:40:15 PM
untrustworthy Simmer down Francis!

2005-12-22 02:40:37 PM
I think that if we had more kids thinking like this while they were kids, then more farkers on here may be a bit nicer.
