Damn, that's cold. But hilarious.

2005-12-21 09:10:33 PM
I gotta admit, that's a funny headline!

2005-12-21 09:26:26 PM
Submitter, you are my hero. I vote for greenlight.

2005-12-21 10:14:12 PM
Brilliant! Greenlight this thing.

2005-12-21 10:42:35 PM
*golf clap*

2005-12-22 12:16:00 AM
Thirded. Green it.

2005-12-22 01:51:16 AM
Good comedy, submitter.

2005-12-22 01:55:46 AM
Breathtaking.

2005-12-22 02:22:46 AM
Nice.

2005-12-22 04:14:26 AM
Great headline submitter! Will you be here all week? I'll be sure to tip the waitress...

2005-12-22 04:16:19 AM
Bill came to my college last week. The bi atch wasn't there, thank god! The guy looked like he was being chewed out daily by the witch!

2005-12-22 04:19:30 AM
That's cool.

I live in Alaska, and I'd just as soon see the price of oil go up to $100/bbl or more, because the higher it gets, the more I make. Wait long enough, and Alaska will be a Free Nation, and then we'll charge a pretty penny for our oil, and stop giving 75% to the Feral Government to support poor management practices and wasteful spending.

That little piece of Arctic coast can produce more oil that all the small states (that includes Texas).

Why do Democrats hate the poor?

2005-12-22 04:23:17 AM
Submitter: Um, still bitter, are we? Why do Republicans hate and fear women, yet worship da Boobies?

Anyway, I'll bet that Hilary's coochie is a good thirty degrees warmer than Laura Bush's -- and the former probably actually enjoys getting drilled.

Hm. Come to think of it, that might be why W. is so desperate to sink his rigs into the ANWAR -- 'cause he ain't getting any frigid tundra at home...

/flame on, my moonbats.

2005-12-22 04:23:33 AM
Amazing headline, submitter!

2005-12-22 04:27:21 AM
Even Hillary would laugh at that headline. Bravo!

2005-12-22 04:28:26 AM
I was actually shocked to read the comments and find no humor-less, angry, and bitter Bush Haters commenting on something unrelated. Then I refreshed the page.

Thanks JB-NoHo for not forcing me to change my perspective on things.

You do realize you live in the most federally subsidized state in the union, right?

2005-12-22 04:29:02 AM
Submitter is a biatch. And rightfully afraid of biatches.

2005-12-22 04:29:05 AM
BTW, excellent headline of course.

2005-12-22 04:32:08 AM
BRAVO!!!

2005-12-22 04:34:20 AM
Oh, perfect. Whine about oil prices, and then make sure that the supply won't increase. Way to go, senators.

Glad not to disappoint you, Janus. And yes, I hate Bush and the NeoCons -- largely because they've lowered political discourse in this country to the level of making unfounded ad hominem attacks on people, particularly if their last name is Clinton or Kennedy. That and all their many crimes against the Constitution and the People.

They remind me of all those Young Republican dickwits who ran for student body offices in college -- and whose platforms were nothing more than "My opponent is ugly and sucks donkey balls." That and, if campaign posters suddenly magically disappeared from the campus, you could be sure who'd done it. Hint: The perps were usually business majors...

Proof?

Do you know that much of our land is locked up by the Feral Government?

That most of our villages don't have running water, septic systems, health care, or other 'amenities' enjoyed by the citizens of the small states?

More money goes to third world states and Israel.

That most of our natural resources, billions and billions of dollars, are sucked up by the Feral Government?

So we get less than one half of one percent, and people in the small states are angry?

Yeah, that's fair.

2005-12-22 04:40:52 AM
Alaskans would be far better off if we sold their land back to Russia. Then they could fish and drill all the way to the bank

Great headline!

2005-12-22 04:45:18 AM
That's OK, we don't need the oil. The government and private business are doing such a good job at finding alternative energy solutions that I am going to go get drunk now.

2005-12-22 04:48:36 AM
It's too bad Hillary isn't African American, then we'd REALLY get to see some Republican "wit" in here ...

Yeah, that's fair.

And you pay no sales taxes, no state income taxes, get your annual oil/residency bonus, and have a state population of about three. Sure, Alaska may be physically huge, but until you start pulling bigger census numbers, you pull the Federal cash you deserve.

Anyway, why should the 33-odd million of us in California expend our federal taxes on the 626 thousand or so of you in Alaska? Hell, there are fewer people in Alaska than there are in San Francisco. And you haven't even been a state for fifty years yet. We're about a hundred years ahead of you.

So quit your whining. If you want to live in that permafrost sausage-fest way up north, fine. And don't be bitter when we down in the lower 48 bother to protect your countryside from destruction. Laugh your way to the bank when you pay far less in taxes than the rest of us, and cash your pogue every year. Unless, of course, you'd prefer to rape the Alaskan countryside to death. But don't come crying for Federal aid when your ecosystem has gone to hell, your children are suffering strange new diseases, and you realize that the Oil Companies have somehow lobbied Congress to not let you benefit from their land-rape.

Oh yeah -- welcome to Winter. We get to keep the sun down here. You don't. Suck on that, you frostie bastard.

You do realize the hypocrisy of complaining about the lowering of political discourse and coming into unrelated threads raving about Bush right?

Um... A) No, I don't. B) The headline was a Hilary Clinton slam; how is that unrelated?

You live in San Francisco and you call Alaska a 'sausage fest'?

It's not our fault that you live...uhm, there.

I'm going to bed now.

ANWR drilling isn't going to "wreck the environment" or "create new diseases" it would be 200 acres out of 19.6 mil. It wouldn't be a good thing as Martha Stewart would say, but it wouldn't be this cataclysmic event that you and others are making it out to be.

As far as the headlines relation to Bush...Uhm they are both public figures. That's not much of a relation. It's not exactly a cutting dig either. Their marriage is a political arrangement, and it has been since Arkansas.

/divorce is very bad for poll numbers, probably especially for Hillary, since Bill is generally looked upon fondly.

HA! Suck it, the both of you! I live in San Francisco and have relatives in Alaska, and let me tell you, not a single member of my family cares how well the Alaskans are doing because they know that by default the Alaskans are doing just fine, thank you. I get weekly calls from various family members making sure everything in "god-forsaken Frisco" is going ok. And I love it here! Attach yourselves to the end of the hose, the both of you! ARRRGH!

No no get back here. I'm a Canuck and this looks to be a good start to a flamewar between you two. I was just making some popcorn and everything...

totalsecurity: Nice troll.

No, I don't live in San Francisco, asshat, and you're really not reading things correctly if you assume that. I was just using that city as an example to point out how insignificant the population of Alaska is. And -- the population of San Francisco lives within about 49 square miles, while the similar population of Alaska lives within 656,425 square miles.

BTW, the female population of San Francisco is 49.2%. The female population of Alaska is 48.3%. Meaning that, sausage-wise, Alaska still wins.

Anyway.. 1) I don't live in San Francisco; 2) Don't call me a troll, dickwit.

thumpnugget apology accepted, since I don't live in San Francisco, but wish I did. Beautiful city, really. But you prove my point, really. Why should Alaska get more from the Federal government than a state like California, which has cities with bigger populations?

Yes, North and South Dakota and Wyoming, I was looking at you when I said that... Bring it on, biatches.
