Not sure what is more retarded, the website or the actual product.
2005-12-21 06:57:57 PM
At least it's not a demonic Christmas tree....
2005-12-21 08:28:55 PM
Deep in my heart I sincerely believe that an Incredible Hulk Xmas tree really, truly needs some sort of comment but *sob* I got nuthing.

2005-12-22 12:12:38 AM

Why do you hate capitalism?

Ergo, why do you hate America?
2005-12-22 03:28:12 AM
I guess we know what kind of Christmas tree is in the household of Ted Stevens.
2005-12-22 03:34:17 AM

Great service.
2005-12-22 03:38:08 AM
Best laugh I had all day! Seriously.

/yeah it's a shameless attempt to make money
//just cuz it's there doesn't mean you gotta buy it
2005-12-22 03:49:07 AM
Wow, doglover, I am impressed. It really is possible to turn any thread on Fark about any subject under the sun into a political flamewar.
2005-12-22 03:49:42 AM
Apparently the Incredible Hulk already has a senator of his own. Ted Stevens, from AK.

I believe he's wearing this tie

[image from too old to be available]

Alaskans pay this nitwit a lot of money to represent them. How sad is that.
2005-12-22 04:02:37 AM
I-mockery and X-Entertainment are only good around Halloween.

Stick to RetroCrush the rest of the year.
2005-12-22 04:02:56 AM
bah, we already knew this...

Sony Online Entertainment made Starwars Galaxies Online: New Game Experience...

which other than having a little more starwars character interaction and a few pictures is the suckiest release of a game ever made. They alienated over 130,000 customers and have jepardized the existance of the game just to make an extra buck.

PCGamer gave it a 27%, lol
2005-12-22 04:05:31 AM
All the rage... uh... half the calories? Seriously, it's a tree, it doesn't have rage. (Shut up LOTR fans, it's not a farking Ent for chrissakes.)

2005-12-22 04:06:52 AM
I am The Hulk, and while I appreciate the lucidity of the various comments:

Have an incredibly SMASHING Christmas!!

/my purple shorts got shrunk in the dryer.

2005-12-22 03:49:42 AM FarkmeBlind

We can afford it, especially as long as the lard-asses in the small states (that's the other 49) keep driving SUV's from one side of the mall to the other.

Oh, and we have no state income taxes, and few places here have sales taxes.

I'd be jealous too, if I lived in a crappy place with a lame representative.
2005-12-22 04:11:30 AM
Did he jerk off with the Hulk Hands on? Please contact Harry Potter broom lady...
2005-12-22 04:12:08 AM
Alaska would be worse off if Ted Stevens didn't ensure that Alaska got as much federal money as possible by turning into the Incredible Hulk.
2005-12-22 04:46:50 AM
mmmm, with extra lead goodness for that mad hatter fun
2005-12-22 04:48:15 AM
Who gives a shiat; the Jolly Green Giant has been pushing asperigus for years after they shut his hydroponic herb facility down (did I spell asperigus right, I wonder).
2005-12-22 04:51:30 AM
(did I spell asperigus right, I wonder).

Asparagus :)
2005-12-22 04:51:36 AM
I think that if the Hulk were real, he would either be smashing that tree into spliters, or rubbing his cock against it. Oh, wait a minute; it's a farking comic book. None of it is real, I just forgot to take my medication this morning; I apologize to anyone reading this.
2005-12-22 04:54:52 AM
Asparagus, asparagus, asparagus...... got it; thank you for correcting me, I was too lazy to use a dictionary (as if I could actually read it right now).
2005-12-22 05:06:19 AM
I don't know about you guys, but this made me smirk and giggle a bit:

[image from too old to be available]

Hehe merry christmas i-mockery!
2005-12-22 05:35:08 AM
I'm proud of everybody involved in this whole process, from the manufacturers to the article writers to the comments thusfar in the thread. Despite the obvious temptation, nobody has made some tremendously lame "Spruce Banner" pun. Good work.
2005-12-22 06:46:51 AM
you bastard
2005-12-22 07:17:22 AM
Their articles are a hit or miss sometimes.
But not everyone can be perfect all the time.
I love that site.

2005-12-22 07:41:17 AM
Hey, just as long as it comes with an apology from Ang Lee for the Hulk movie, I'll be happy.

Not saying I'll actually go out and *buy* one, but I'll be happy.
2005-12-22 07:43:23 AM
This is just begging to be turned into a photoshop theme. I would love to see some of the other tie-in products that have been suggested.
2005-12-22 08:28:51 AM
The sad thing is that I will probably buy this.

/Collects Hulk memorabilia
//Used to have a "Hulk room" until it became our first kid's nursery
////Somebody shoot me
//Now collects slashies
2005-12-22 08:30:43 AM
Kringus says "O RLY?"
2005-12-22 08:31:02 AM
why the hell would toys r us sell something aimed to children with a big lead warning sticker on it?
2005-12-22 08:39:28 AM
I thought he was Jewish.
2005-12-22 08:42:53 AM
I don't get all this super-extra-caution crap these days. I mean "wash your hands?".. how much lead could you possibly get on your hands from this thing?!! A few micrograms at most? And of those few micrograms, how many would you actually ingest? 10% or maybe 20% ? C'mon and get real already!! It is meant for DECORATION which mean you handle it a couple of times a year and that's it. And if anyone is stupid enough to actually EAT the thing, then they are not fit for reproduction anyway and deserve what happens.

/Way different than kids chewing on pencils that had lead paint.
//Those kids don't need to reproduce either.
//Merry Christmas!
2005-12-22 08:55:35 AM
TDNacho I think it must be from the lights. We got some outdoor lights (Christmas and year-round) from Target with the same warning on them.

The US prolly has some restrictions against importing them without the warning, even though the risk is probably miniscule.
2005-12-22 08:57:05 AM
What really cracks me up is when one of my students gets stuck with a pencil and is terrified that they are going to get "lead poisoning".
2005-12-22 09:22:08 AM
The Hulk 'Smashing Spruce'? What's next? The 'Fantastic Fir'?
2005-12-22 09:54:06 AM
Dude! I have so got to get me one of those!

Spruce Banner. That made me laugh way harder than it should have.
2005-12-22 09:54:58 AM
Great, I have that tie, senator assbag just ruined its coolness for me.
2005-12-22 10:13:50 AM
dude. there is no coolness in that tie.
2005-12-22 10:48:24 AM
Next up: Wolverine's Spiral-Cut Ham.
2005-12-22 10:52:15 AM
"Hehe merry christmas i-mockery!"

Same to ya, lordpwnalot!

"The sad thing is that I will probably buy this."

You can buy mine if you want. It's already killed all my sperm, so I no longer have any use for it.

Had to be done.
2005-12-22 11:13:12 AM
Damn, others beat me to the Ted Stevens reference.

I just heard about that yesterday, but somehow it doesn't shock me too much. Stevens specializes in getting pissed off and ruining things.
