how many of these Bush speech Discussion Threads are we gonna have people?

as many as it takes, I guess.

Think of them as seperate quantum realities, each evolving/changing depending on the observers.

Tell that to the administration.

2005-12-18 08:35:53 PM

2005-12-18 08:36:30 PM
Let it be known, you biatching isn't gonna make a bit of difference to the world. So don't even bother.

2005-12-18 08:36:36 PM
Political realists own you all. suck it up biatches.

2005-12-18 08:36:37 PM
There is no justification for a war started with false information. Its a death/money pit, no matter what he says it won't convince me that it's a good thing.

2005-12-18 08:37:12 PM
do not cross into the family guy! crap..,,

2005-12-18 08:37:13 PM

I laugh everytime I watch it.

Bush vs. Spiderman? Are you kidding?

True, Bush won't be kissing Kirsten Dunst in the rain. But i've seen Spider-Man quite a few times too.

2005-12-18 08:38:49 PM
Wow, 11 paragraphs before he mentioned 9/11. Is that a new record?

2005-12-18 08:38:58 PM
Hmm.. after reading the txt it should take 10-15 minutes.. this would that be long enough to push family guy back, or would they do the already in progress crap

2005-12-18 08:39:09 PM
Well we might as well get this out of the way:

2005-12-18 08:39:19 PM
CNN will have a poll in a few minutes. Oh, this will be such fun...

2005-12-18 08:39:21 PM
Alexis

2005-12-18 08:39:53 PM
Now, before we begin, let's keep your hands
and head inside the car at all times and remember:

That is all.

This is grounds for impeachment right here.

I've seen Bush quite a few times, too, more than care to.

GIS for "spider man bush"

2005-12-18 08:40:58 PM
Family Guy? Hell, every time he walks into the Rose Garden, I lose Price Is Right for the day.

2005-12-18 08:41:01 PM
Here's the speech preview:

- We're making progress
- The war is necessary
- 9/11
- Bad intelligence
- Still the right thing to do
- 9/11
- Stay the course
- We're making progress
- Please like Republicans
- The end

Of course, there'll be no mention of the fact that America started a war, that we shouldn't have and that we're now writing revisionist history by saying it's justified.

And all that stuff about Saddam having nukes, drones, 45 minute minutes until we're attacked....yea, not so much. We won't talk about the 6 months of saying that over and over, but it was still justified. Uh huh.

Wind bag.

2005-12-18 08:41:02 PM
Bush knows how to speak?

I thought he just kind of mumbled....

2005-12-18 08:41:06 PM
Wonder how this thread is going to go.

Any idea? Anyone ever seen this before? Like every thread for the past five years?

2005-12-18 08:41:18 PM
This morning p*ssed me off. One of the moderators of Meet the Press or something asked whether the spy scandal represented a constitutional crisis. WTF? If the president breaks a law, it its only an f'ing crisis if the leadership in congress don't step up and do there duty to hold those responsible accountable. Even George Will appeared to acknowledge the likelihood of law breaking on This Week. Even Condi admitted knowledge of this program.

2005-12-18 08:41:21 PM
raginbullsht: Hmm.. after reading the txt it should take 10-15 minutes..
Plus another 10-15 minutes on each side of the "speech" to preview it and "praise" it afterwards.

I also want to speak to those of you who did not support my decision to send troops to Iraq: I have heard your disagreement, and I know how deeply it is felt. Yet now there are only two options before our country victory or defeat. And the need for victory is larger than any president or political party, because the security of our people is in the balance. I do not expect you to support everything I do, but tonight I have a request: Do not give in to despair, and do not give up on this fight for freedom.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.

2005-12-18 08:42:28 PM
What are the odds that Bush "blanks out" in the middle of the speech?

2005-12-18 08:42:36 PM
Wow. he doesn't mention September 11th until the 10th paragraph. I'm impressed.

2005-12-18 08:43:11 PM
Hmmm...I'm guessing he'll avoid referring to his wiretap policy.

Can't say I blame him - there's no way he can make spying on US citizens come off sounding necessary or acceptable.

2005-12-18 08:43:20 PM
All I want for Christmas Solstice...
