2005-12-16 05:27:52 PM

2005-12-16 07:05:56 PM
He's going to have his "0" changed into a much bigger one too, soon.

2005-12-16 07:55:33 PM
good. dick.

2005-12-16 08:57:39 PM
"Your honor, this is a parking violation," Shufro told Judge Sharon DeVries as he was being arraigned.

DeVries corrected him.

heh - that would have been fun to watch

"no, dumbass, it's felony forgery"

2005-12-16 09:28:23 PM
why doesn't this surprise me?

The following are those who face one count each of a Class B misdemeanor charge for the prohibited sale of alcohol to minors as a result of the police sweep conducted on Thursday, Dec. 18 (2002): Bernadette M. Flanagan, 40, of 6 Libby Lane, Eliot, Maine; Caitlin Sullivan, 23, 107 Martha Terrace; William S. Shufro, 44, 23 Pleasant St., Exeter; and Robert K. Tuck, 40, 60 Summer St.. Apt. 3, Dover.

I'll third the "dick" comment.

2005-12-16 10:07:41 PM
Someone is gonna be parking in his handicapped spot soon enough. Bend over, son.

2005-12-16 10:09:03 PM
Surely the able-bodied who park in handicapped parking spots are morally disabled.
Therefore they can park there.

/ah keed

2005-12-16 10:10:28 PM
That's not so bad. My idiot ex-wife's new husband got called for jury duty. ($5.00 per day), and he served 1 day. They sent him a cheque for the 5 bucks, and he changed it to 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Nine years, max.
/hehe.

2005-12-16 10:12:24 PM
Yeah, the punishment really seems to fit the crime. *eye roll* DRTFA.

2005-12-16 10:12:46 PM
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAArwin??????????

Do something!

2005-12-16 10:13:32 PM
Not that he shouldn't do time for a crime, but why should he serve more time than a rapist or murderer ? Justice system needs to be reformed.

2005-12-16 10:14:09 PM
Anyone in Boston listening to WBCN 104.1 right now?? The DJ mentioned this story about 3 minutes after it came up on fark.
methinks me smells a theif...

2005-12-16 10:15:39 PM
Skinink,

Well, why did they let OJ go when they had everthing but video of him murdering his ex-wife and her boyfriend?

/not really surprised by our justice system anymore.

2005-12-16 10:19:24 PM
Wow, that's pretty stiff. *taking note for self*

2005-12-16 10:19:48 PM
Megain: why doesn't this surprise me?

Good catch. How does someone so stupid get to be so old?

2005-12-16 10:20:57 PM
Sought for questioning.

George: Ah you sure it'll be okay?
Kramer: Yeah, it's fine, we'll be right back!

2005-12-16 10:21:09 PM
A fine maybe, but jail time? Let's get real.

This country is farked, we let people who are convicted of gang rape, violent assult, murder, etc out in no time, but people accused of altering a parking ticket?

I truthfully don't think he should serve any jail time.

2005-12-16 10:21:44 PM
Well, its not like it was an accident or anything. So why go easy on him?

2005-12-16 10:23:27 PM
They don't like it when you steal from the gov't, they hate the competition!

2005-12-16 10:23:32 PM

Nice job, dumbass!

2005-12-16 10:25:56 PM
skinink - Don't forget, the US has a Legal System, not a Justice system. Crimes involving property/money are almost always punished far more severely than those commited against human beings.

2005-12-16 10:26:31 PM
forget the topic of this thread. Let's post pictures of famous TV actors wearing plaid!!

2005-12-16 10:26:39 PM
Ok so he broke the law and now gets to be punished. Ok, but let the punishment fit the farking crime. Oh no he tried to cheat the government out of 80$ lets treat him like a drug dealer.

At the absolute MAX the punishment for something like this should be a year in jail and maybe a $5000 fine. His crime was not violent, had no victims (the forgery not the parking thing) , and would have only cost them $80 if he had gotten away with it. He should be given a fine and either community service or _small_ amount of jail time.

This is a perfect example of why the jails in this country are so overstuffed.

why doesn't anyone love me?

What Zyng said.

tarkhuna

No, in fact I have never even had so much as a speeding ticket. I am just completely fed up with the way this country is being run.

2005-12-16 10:32:17 PM
Its not so much the fraud charge, you could just get by with a slap on the wrist for that(just ask a politician), its more so much the fact the guys a farkin idiot. Wonder if hes ever passed any 10's with an extra 0 on the end wriiten in crayon...

Personally I think 30 days in the hoosegow would do.

Still, admit it, Farkers, you love seeing handicapped-space-stealing dweebs like this get pwn3d.

2005-12-16 10:41:01 PM
foggynotion- a lot of DJs do that, it seems. And no, after this morning, I will never need to listen to BCN again.

/deleted the preset from both my cars

2005-12-16 10:41:08 PM
I say we just lt him SIT in there and rot.... but maybe I'm teensy-bit biased

All those calling for lienency should consider the moral makeup of someone willing to do it to begin with.

2005-12-16 10:45:21 PM
Seven years for using a handicapped parking space, sounds about right.

/not sarcasm

2005-12-16 10:46:35 PM
angrycripple

Sorry, but in this country people are (supposedly) innocent until proven guilty. Using that the argument that people are more likely to do something else just because they commited one crime brings us one step closer to something like Minority Report. That is NOT a society I would want to live in.

Still, admit it, Farkers, you love seeing handicapped-space-stealing dweebs like this get pwn3d.

Until the dawning of the day when able bodied people stealing handicapped parkings spaces get to swap with the handicapped person and make them whole again and themselves handicapped,

Hell Yeah!

2005-12-16 10:53:08 PM
I guess he didn't read The Stainless Steel Rat, which advises "when altering tickets or orders, lower the face value" (here, value is negative)

2005-12-16 10:56:33 PM
let him rot, for the simple reason that for the seven years in jail he will have no chance to reproduce, and after 7 years in jail he will have a hard time earning money, and money makes it easier to reproduce

2005-12-16 10:57:04 PM
Is it illegal to park in those "new mothers only" parking spaces at my local supermarket?

2005-12-16 11:01:58 PM
Chibisuke
I wouldn't imagine so.

/They're also marked for "expecting mothers" around these parts.
//Just don't park in the fire lane. That friggin' pisses me off.

"...and after 7 years in jail he will have a hard time earning money, and money makes it easier to reproduce"

I guess you've never met any mothers on welfare ...

I thought that this thread needed this guy:

But I don't rightly know why.

2005-12-16 11:18:04 PM
Maybe he can try to escape from prison -- only to get shot in the attempt!

Seriously it is rather doubtful that he would get the maximum possible sentence and I am sure he would probably get paroled well before his sentence is up if he can behave himself.

He does deserve to get some prison time. Forging/altering official documents can't be tolerated.

2005-12-16 11:23:40 PM
Lehk: Poor people have the highest reproduction rate in the population, at least in the US where the state pays them to keep having kids.

2005-12-16 11:30:59 PM
He shouldn't get any prison time whatsoever. Please. It's $80. Let's get real, folks. It's farking eighty dollars from the biggest crooks on the planet anyway

He's still a dumbass, so a $1-2000 fine or something would do well. Maybe some community service.

2005-12-16 11:31:21 PM
Zyng: That is NOT a society I would want to live in.

What is keeping you here may I ask?

Don't mean anything by it, just asking . . .
